I hear and listen for that stuff too. I don’t play an instrument but guitar in all forms is a my favorite; acoustic, electric, bass, intro/outro guitar, solo guitar, and carrying the same pace/rhythm through the whole song guitar. And I love rap. Actually MC rap such as Eminem NF, Royce 5’9, Joyner, Kendrick etc. the double and triple meaning bars, Easter eggs, rap is just music that makes you think and you have to have a poet’s ear

I lived in the middle of nowhere when I was a kid. No one came through on tour. But Alice did and most importantly he brought Motorhead as the opening act. I actually bought Lemmy a drink after the show when he showed up at the local bar. So in a round about way I have Alice Cooper to thank for meeting Lemmy Kilminster.

The first time I saw Alice Cooper live was in the mid 90's. The highlight for me was he asked the audience (us) to request any song for them to play, I immediately screamed Poison as loud as I possibly could. He turned to the band and waved the baton, and BAM! Poison! Great memory from an amazing show!

Just saw Alice on the 6th in Raleigh. I've been to multiple concerts, seen just about every group/singer there is, and have seen Alice multiple times through the years. Best concert I have ever been to!!! Alice only gets better with age and his wife Sheryl looks younger on every tour. Everyone needs to go to at least one Alice concert in their life. He is awesome!

I feel like rock is literally impossible to hate simply because it's such a huge and diverse genre that encompasses so many types of songs, so you're bound to like certain types of rock. "Rock" includes anything from Jimi Hendrix to the All American Rejects, from Elvis to Black Sabbath, from Chuck Berry to Gwen Stefani, from Queen to Coldplay. I was 12 when "Billion Dollar Babies" came out. I remember my older brother listened to Alice Cooper and I started to really pay attention and listen to his music. I knew even as a kid that his music was really good, and catchy, controversial and dark yet he seemed like a "decent guy" despite his bad boy image. I even bought "Billion Dollar Babies" way back then in the 70s when I was just a pre-teen. I would say, though, that Poison is my favorite song of his for the sheer quality of the songwriting and execution and emotion of it. It is so well crafted and it's timeless.
