Sorry if there are any mistakes, I'm French. At the time Lordi won Eurovision I was 16 years old, I lived in a small town where no one was "different", except me. In high school, with my pink hair and my unusual clothes, people looked at me like the girl in the music video. Seeing this clip and this music saved me at that time. I'll never forget the night they won Eurovision. I'm Turkish, and it was broadcasted live at government channel. The announcer was a very formal Eurovision veteran, and it was obvious that he was shocked by the performance of Lordi. And he was even more shocked by the fact that they were about to win. Until the last minute, he almost prayed for someone else to win, and I was totally drunk and laughing in tears. Had so much fun that night, thanks to Lordi!

I'm a Finn (at the time living in the UK), and I'll never forget the night they won Eurovision, for very obvious reasons ;D The next morning when I woke up I was like "Was that all a dream?!? Or did Finland actually win Eurovision???!?" Hell has indeed frozen over... (As there was a popular saying, "Sooner will Hell freeze over than Finland win Eurovision song contest ;))
