Any Alice Cooper song that you can remember that had any merit was likely composed and arranged by Michael Bruce. Also he, in my opinion, was every bit the guitarist that G.B. was and an excellent key board player as well. Michael Bruce deserves a place in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame all by himself as far as I'm concerned. Vincent Furnier owes absolutely everything to Neal Smith and Michael Bruce.

@@jaelge Dead right, Michael Bruce always was the unsung musical and composing backbone of the Coop. It speaks of his commitment to being a team player that he allowed himself to be overshadowed by one or two other preening personalities. Bruce just got on with the job.

@ChimeraAZ

@@gr7673: Funny that you think Vincent Furnier is in some tribute band now. Are you speaking of some other Vincent? He's still making music under the name ALICE COOPER.His website will let you know where he'll be doing a show next. I mean,the video even says it is Alice Cooper with Michael Bruce, and Neal Smith. If you dont believe me just go check out every album since he left the band in the 70's. They all are by ALICE COOPER. He adopted the band's name as his own name in the 1970s and began a solo career with the 1975 album Welcome to My Nightmare. So,..,if you dont believe Vince and Alice are the same,you can always ask his Mom,Ella Furnier. She's really nice and talks to his fans whenever they approach her.Well,maybe not so much now,as Coopers'town has closed, She used to go there sometimes.His kids would go there with her,a couple of times on Halloween. Oh,and I was at this show. The building now is being turned into an insurance company,..sadly.Sometimes I ride by mountain bike over there just to see what it's like now. My storage unit is across from it. I live about 12 blocks a way from there. Also,he liked the tattoos of him I drew on my arms and had done,..so much sp that he signed my arm,and it too got tattooed on. XD Several of us have had that done. I know these things.Not everything,but a whole lot. Ask me more and I'll tell you.

It looks kind of funny to see Alice "just standing there", rather than getting more into it and prowling around the stage like we're used to seeing him. It's also weird seeing Neal behind that little bitty drum kit as opposed to that big, showy double-kick with 25 toms surrounding him like in the "old days." And of course, we miss Glen Buxton! R.I.P, Mr. Buxton!

I've been a huge fan since Killer came out, I've seen Alice 28 times and the Alice Cooper band 8 times. The original band was far better than any of the solo stuff he has done and it's a total shame that it seems like Ol' Alice isn't interested in playing with his old band mates, or at least Mike Bruce. Even if Mike didn't sing the lead vocal on all the songs along with Alice (which was a little annoying even though they ARE his songs)Alice looks like he is still holding that, 'I'm the star' attitude towards the people who made him famous to begin with, like Mike, and Neil and Dennis ( who has more going on musically than to bother worrying about the past). They were Alice Cooper once, but alas no more, and never shall be again, that is an era gone bye. Glad I got to witness it first hand and those are memory's that I will always cherish from my youth.

I watched this for the first time in a decade just to compare Michael Bruce now and then. It'a an obvious difference between his playing in this video and the UK-gigs last year. I wonder what happened? All though he has played these songs many many times, his playing is not what it used to be last year.

Decent enough performance. Nobody is really giving it their all, but then again, why should they? Alice is probably not comfy with the small stage area and, like a lot of singers used to moving about on stage, has no idea what to do with his hands or his body. All this talk of Alice screwing over the band. Nobody but the band really knows the full story anyway, and while they and Cooper did want to go in different musical directions and Cooper did take the name, he has, and still does, pay them a pretty damn good amount of money every year for use of the name.

Looks like they were a little nervous. First time reunion. Probably in state of disbelief, out of character without makeup. The hall of fame induction they were a lot more polished and relaxed. It's actually a lot harder to play in front of an intimate crowd than an arena. Alice is a very theatrical performer and moves around a lot. He couldn't really get into the action on a small stage like that. I agree. Gotta say they still played awesome though.
