Every year on the last day of school my dad would bring his Alice Cooper CD and we would circle the school, windows down, blasting this song. It always kind of embarrassed me; I would hunch down in my seat, but I also secretly loved it. Every year on the last day when he’d pick me up I’d ask if he remembered to bring his Alice Cooper CD. He did, without fail. He passed away when I was 14, 10 years ago. Flash forward to two years ago: I’m graduating from college. Even though it was an exciting day for me, I couldn’t help feel sad that my dad wasn’t able to be there. After the ceremony, I’m driving myself home. This song comes on the radio and within a second I’m in tears. I’ve never been one to believe in signs, or at least I’ve never thought that anything was a clear sign from my dad. But I know that was him letting me know that he WAS with me that day, on my final last day of school.

One of the most avant garde Rockers in history.....Alice Cooper busted down the door for the rest to follow.

Absolutely agree. Saw two of his concerts and both were cool as hell. A massive live snake coiling around Alice's neck .... that was something else.

I used to play it for my kids on the last day of school more than 40 years ago. I sent it to one of my grandsons today, with the caveat that it was done in more innocent times.

When I graduated from high school, this was cranking out of a car radio. A couple of my relatives told me, "Welcome to the club!" As if it was right of passage

I only bought this album for the posters that came with it. My soon to be in-laws we’re coming over to meet and talk to this guy (me) who was seeing their daughter. I put up the posters to freak them out. It did they didn’t stay long. Mission accomplished!

My very first concert in 1973 was Alice Cooper; it was the Billion Dollar Babies concert, and of course he played this song which was the theme song of all 18-year-olds (including me) at the time. It's interesting to note that it still holds relevance today, and even more relevance in 2020 due to the Corona virus. School's been blown completely.

I've loved Alice Cooper's music since I was a teenager. I worked for him as a go-for when I was 18 (and didn't know what I wanted!) He was a real gentleman and nothing like his stage persona. He's a real artist and actor

4 years ago, end of 6th grade, I thought it was funny to play this with the speaker I brought last day. Little did I know it would turn into a tradition. I did it In 7th grade, 8th grade at the end of middle school walk king home with all my friends, I did it walking out 3/4 into last year when they said we shouldn’t come back on Monday in 9th grade, and today, may 26, 2021, I graduated 10th grade. Next year, I’ll be going to a different school, after just finishing a semester at my refuge school, from which I escaped a bad school. Feels weird now, I guess I’ll wait till it’s my last day of highschool. Hopefully, I remember this comment one day, maybe next year, maybe at the end of my senior year and make an edit, saying that I did, or maybe it will be in more time, maybe I’ll show this to my kids, or hell my grandkids. Life’s a weird thing, isn’t it?
