The Billion Dollar Babies tour at the Los Angeles Forum was one of the greatest concerts I've ever attended. And 51 years later it still is! Although In fairness nothing will ever match the sound and feel of the original Alice Cooper group! It's hard to believe that I was 13 years old when I saw that show. I am now 64 and still Alice is in my top five.

i bet you never thought he'd still be performing in 2024. I never thought back in '72 he would be putting on the make up on that old face years later

@@vincentl.9469 Back in those days no one could have known or imagined that any band of performer would last that long. Many rock stars of that era had already died and several had become members of the 27 Club. At 13 years old even 30 years old was old to us back then! Haha
@vincentl.94692 ай бұрын
@@donnysarian yes, in the 60s 30 was considered old for a pop star. There have been many bands and solo performers from then that had their time in the Sun and vanished . I think some are taking longevity too far now; .because you can do something does not mean you should. The Stones, as one example, should call it a day now as far as going on stage

I love this song. I know some people see it in a negative way but I think he's telling people just be true to yourself and not pander to other people's expectations. It's very liberating when you realize that. Thanks Alice!

This drama never gets old. Holier than thou preacher is a sinner like everyone else. Guitarists here are top notch. But Alice Cooper is set apart because it really is a stagecraft with all the requisite tropes. Welcome to my Nightmare @ Cobo was my 1st show/ A Bob Ezrin Production/ The Guess Who opened for the band.

Since I watched Spinal Tap all those years ago, this kind of histrionics just looks ridiculous to me, that film did for camp rock what Smashie & Nicey did for Radio 1.
