I LOVE this, too! But he has enough supplies for an entire school in that cart! 😛 🎼 Just saw quick interview of John O'Hurley (Seinfeld, etc.). He was raving about Alice and Alice's family. Said they're really nice and very intelligent, just like everyone else here who had met them said. I never tire of this video, and wonder how loud it would have been hearing everyone's response to the commercial each time it played. ("He DID say schools out forever!!") Pure genius is right.

This was out around the time I saw him in concert for the second time. He was performing at the Arizona State Fair, and both of his daughters were there. His older daughter, Calico, was dancing in the band, and his younger daughter(About the age of the girl in the commercial) was there, too. He introduced her, she walked out, kicked him in the shin, and said "Next time I want to be in the commercial!" and stormed off. It was hilarious! I actually got to go backstage at this show, and met both of his daughters back there. They confirmed everything I'd been hearing for years about his kids, they were total sweethearts and couldn't possibly have been nicer. If I hadn't been backstage at a concert with Coop walking around, meeting folks, I would have forgotten that they were Alice Cooper's daughters. :-) Coop himself was also one of the nicest people I've ever met(Once again, confirming things I'd been hearing for years, the man truly 'gets it'.)

He played at the golf course I used to work at (this was in October 2009). He was so nice - he was there with his band, and they were playing with several groups of high rollers (casino-operated golf course near Atlantic City, NJ, now under private ownership). Alice Cooper played as the fifth in each group. I stood about 3 feet from him, and they were the nicest guys.

Now that really cracked me up. Alice Cooper has always been one of my favorite performers. I had never seen this before. On stage he is unique, and was very shocking in the 70's. In interviews, he is always a very nice person. He has done a lot to help others. There just isn't anything bad to say about him as a performer, or as a person.

I was a high school secretary for almost 20 years, and I tried to get Admin. to play this at the end of each semester. Just twice a year! Nope, never would. Begged them to play Mellencamp’s Authority Song each morning, as a friendly reminder of just who really ran the place 😂, but alas, no luck. We were stuck with the Final Jeopardy theme. Bleeck! (It was cruel and unusual, and a clear violation of the Geneva Convention!) I have never hated a piece of music more, unless it was anything/everything Dan Hill sang.

Bravo to you Jan for at least being brave enough to TRY! That would have been SO cool to hear over the schools PA system! Your story brings back a tune - "Your mama don't dance and your daddy don't rock n roll"! As for me on my final day as a Senior I had "Schools Out" already queued up on my pickup trucks' cassette tape deck and I blasted it as I drove around my school for the last time ( and got a lot of fist pumping and yelling as I did!). @@donbaker5052 & Brady: Yes, it would have been great, as most of my ideas are. Both songs are harmless and fun. But I always got overruled. And at one particular school, the other administrative assistants (i.e. secretaries) wanted us to all assume a ‘Charlie’s Angels’ type of pose for the yearbook. You know, where we all stand in silhouette with our hands in an imitation hand-gun pose. As David’s Angels. So cute, so adorable, so ignorant of rising school violence. What a wonderful message for developing young minds. Note: I bought the album as soon as it was released. And I actually wore the disposable panties the records came wrapped in when my mom forgot to do laundry. Cheers from 🇨🇦

At our high school they let us have music in the cafeteria during lunch, with a student volunteer in the office making and playing the song selections. One day he said, in a very authoritarian voice, "May I have your attention, may I have your attention, please." Everyone got quiet, thinking it was the Principal.
