Alice is the younger sibling of the 2. Lizzie is the oldest. It is stated in one of the memories you pick up earlier in the game that Alice was always a lonely child, since her sister was too old to play with dolls. Or something similar to that.

I remember all those alchemic symbols! They're all the planets on the keys at the beginning, including the sun. Mercury (right) and Venus (left) are the two on her apron pockets and the omega symbol on her necklace symbolises something ending. 23:25 I've never had this confirmed for me directly but you can just taste where there was very obviously supposed to be a boss fight, but due to a mix of time/budget constraints they had to be cut at the last second. I remember I played this game when I was a kid (I was very naive and did not know what was actually going on lmao) and I always felt super frustrated that they teased boss fights but only had the final one, but in retrospect it's painfully obvious that there were supposed to be more than one boss fight and they hit the cutting room floor.

Tim Burton could have taken a lesson from this. In fact, I think he did. Both his Alice in Wonderland and McGee's have similar main plot devices used from Carroll original story. The Vorpal Blade, The Jabberwock, the battle against the Red Queen reign, Alice as the champion of Wonderland. Tim Burton even uses the image of a burning house which is almost identical to the image in McGee's. McGee does a much better job of it, though. I wish I could name all of them but I have no more characters to

The Looking Glass line was the original train that ran through Wonderland, run by Mock Turtle. (As Bumby says, this is Alice's "inventiion" her "defense") The Infernal Train represents Bumby's corruption and influence on Alice's mind, it percives, as Alice does, threats and runs rampant because Alice is unaware that Bumby is truly the cause of her suffering. Doormouse and Hare built the train, as far as Wonderland goes, and presumably under the Doll Maker's orders, as they were driven to Madness

Yes, especially the DLC ones, but a number of them aren't all that useful. The Catepillar dress allows you to see in 'small' vision for example and Rabbit's gets the shrinking violets to heal you quicker i think.

If you don't read the book when you was little, you might find it awesome. I find it very simple with all that predictable characters and subject itself. In Russia we call it "stamp" - when movies are very LIKE others in the way they are made, by the way characters talk and behave. It seems like Tim Berton took a simple hollywood raw as a base (you know, a blonde girl, lots of graphics and actions and so on) and roughly stuffed it with Carroll's citations...

The only thing i didnt like about this game was the lack of boss battles, the only one being the major antagonist at the end was not enough. I hoped for this game to be like the first one, to battle another characters of wonderland, but hell, they didnt do it. I will never forget when i saw the enormous metal thing for the very first time at the end of the level (23:42), i was like "yeahh time for a boss battle!" and then (23:51) ...nothing, just like the end of every level after that.

Well, I don't Tim was going for a horror theme, which is why I don't compare one as better than the other. McGee explored maddess and psychological trauma, Tim explored "madness" expressed on many levels ranging from imagination (Alice and her father) to emotional coping (Hatter) to sheer insanity (the Red Queen). They are both good, but explore different aspects.

alice wasnt based off of drugs or any of that its a disease in the brain called alice in wonderland syndrom the original writer to alice had it and he wrote about his experience but used a young girl for his character he ended up losing his mind and died after that lewis carroll was a friend of a friend of his and he gave it to her and she carried on his story but from what they said his version was just like alice madness return they just dimmed it down for kids

wonderland. she first goes to the mad hatter's domain (like the title says) she had to find all of his body parts (because he is a robot) after she finds them he helps her get to the end so she could try and get to the red queen. the hatter's friend the mouse and hare end up dieing. the hatter is going crazy and says they can just have tea also telling her about the black train. then she magically gets out of wonderland back into the main world.
