Thank you for watching! English translated lyrics are as follows: ---------------------------------------- KILLED BY ANGEL (English Translation) Now, spit out all your fears Let’s become one I’ll send nutrients To every corner of your starving cells “I’m fed up with your insane delusions” Why, I’m telling the truth Yet the strange doctrine tries to behead me With a rusty red guillotine “Everything about your existence annoys me” As you wished, I shouldn’t have been born into this fucking world You spew your desires into the womb, and when you no longer need it, it‘s off to the trash bag Soon to be crushed inside the truck, it’s such a beautiful, beautiful fate That’s right, it’s all because of this poorly made brain This is the culprit of all the suffering Just collapse already Just collapse! My poor little baby Thrown into the darkness in tatters Bury such an ugly body Follow the guidance of heaven “Even God will abandon you” Inhaling the ecstatic helium, let me soar beyond the rainbow Looking down upon all the lies, shaming them with a high voice You will never be able to touch me, the reborn me

The way the father of Heor looks like a monster may represent abusivement and suffering he could have put them both through, perhaps causing the suicide of Heor's mother. The way at the end Heor gets “reborn” and turns into this angel like thing may also link to the name of this music video, and how when Heor climbed up the umbilical cord Heor looked like they were strangling her, thus the name “killed by angel” may also be one of the reason it’s named this.

Ive just been rewatching this over and over, it's making me cry and touches my heart so much. Heor is a wonderful character. Seeing her self-destructive tendencies are caused by how she's felt responsible for her mother's death, forced to live in a Hell on earth with her father until she can break free and "ascend", medication being given to her never truly easing the pain (great depiction with the plush doctor sloughing over after giving her a bunch of junk happiness meds). The end where she gains her wings is so beautiful

i'm seeing a recurring theme now that each child has a background of dealing with abuse and being domineered/controlled by others. Heor lives with her abusive father, Alishka was part of a cult of fanatics and Salatoga was trapped in a lab of sorts (or circus, I dont remember if it was literal or he was imagining it). Hope Alice can help them escape from these wicked places (so long as she's able to escape her own hell first) Great song as always!

I personally think the mother didnt kill herself, instead, she probably died because of complications with the birth. The kids father loved the mom so much (or probably he wast just sickly obsessed with her), he ended up blaming the child for the death of his lover, and started abusing her relentlessly.

After watching this over and over for the last few days, all of the details make so much more sense I think despite Heor being a very obviously unplanned child, the mother was willing to accept her, the beginning of the song's lyrics showing how she wants to raise Heor while the father chastises her with phrases like "I'm fed up with your insane illusions" and "Everything about your existence annoys me", which cuts to show the mother crying Despite how she wants to be there for Heor, she acknowledges "Yet this strange doctrine tries to behead me with a rusty red guillotine", that it will be her undoing, which ultimately is exactly what happens and is what Heor looks towards for guidance in what to do about her having to take on the abuse from the father (Heor becomes the new victim to the father's abuse) The end where they hug shows that Heor's mother truly embraces her, both literally and metaphorically through the imagery

My theory is the child was born from SA and her mother was either killed and It was made to look like she hanged or she actually committed. All the colorful parts of the MV would be the child dreaming or longing for her mother. We also see the father is abusive. The child medicates heavily and is depicted dead from overdose at the end, this also makes me think the scenes with her mom could've been hallucinations. Overall, this song slaps, has relatable lyrics that can be applied to many relations and I'll might even animate It.

i feel as though it goes along the lines of when the mother dies during childbirth and the father left to raise the child turns abusive. i dont think he was abusive toward the mother or sa'ed her, i think the girl was planned. but it ended tragically when the mother died during childbirth and the father grew to resent the child, therefore becoming a monster. she blames herself for the death of her mother and her father likely told her she is at fault-- thus leading her to abuse of what seem to be prescribed drugs

Theory 1: Hear's parents, or one of them, is a believers(maybe christian, I'm not too sure in what other religion would mention angels), because in every moment when parts of heaven was mentioned(for example: 0:06 - 0:24 , 1:05 , 2:20 - 2:34 ), it's like they're telling Hear that the golden gates are closed for her, from the moment she was born. Theory 2: the songs are describing their worldview before they died, not after(this moment 1:48 is why that theory appeared), for example, Alishka in O meets a bored demon, who slowly copies her mortal form, starting with her eyes, then in Queen Bee, the demon is like "I know what you did", and after her body dies, they're happy to gain more souls to play with(her head is smiling after Alice opens the door).
my god, the language feeling familiar and unknown makes the visuals and sounds a million times more impactful. this whole band is a masterwork.

This is a deeper story than I think people understand. TLDR: Manipulation and abuse by the father, who kills the mother while the child watches and regrets being complacent, not stopping the killing, which eventually leads to the child deciding to "pass away" by overdose. More info below 0:00 - 1:04 This section is the child having a nightmare or PTSD, reliving the decapitation of the mother but they're the one to be decapitated in this nightmare. 1:22 - 1:52 The portraits are a timeline of the events at around 1:52 you can see a portrait of the child, the abuser, and the mother as the father pulls on something presumably the guilliotine 1:55 - 2:06 Regret as the child thinks they're the one that killed the mother and so they blame their "poorly made brain" for being "the culprit of all the suffering" as they were too young and were mostlikely manipulated by the abuse of the father so that they could do nothing but watch 2:07 - 2:27 I interpret this in a few ways Interpretation 1: The mother being a comfort to the child they start thinking about escaping and joining their mother in heaven. "Follow the guidance of heaven" Interpretation 2: Maybe the child had a choice for them to die or for their mother to die. "You spew your desires into the womb, and when you no longer need it, it‘s *off to the trash bag* soon to be crushed inside the truck, it’s such a beautiful, beautiful fate" "*My poor little baby thrown into the darkness in tatters* bury such an ugly body follow the guidance of heaven" then at 2:29 you seem them being thrown into *trash bags* which also looks exactly like 0:56 2:50 - 3:26 The child finally reunites with their mother, the abuser can no longer "be able to touch [them]" I don't have a full theory yet theres a lot of neat details like at 1:48 you can see 3 other people I think these are the same as we saw at the start potentially the child is one of the 4 angels in the portraits at 1:54. At a couple points of the video we see the 1:49 the mother begging the Angels for her not to be killed. Theres a lot of cultish subtext maybe the abuser is a cult leader that wanted 4 devote "Angels" lyric "you spew your desires into the womb, and when you no longer need it, it‘s off to the trash bag" The only thing I'm sure of is that somehow the child is connected to the death of the mother most likely influenced by the abuser. It's also pretty clear that the child definetly regrets whatever happend and desires to be reunited with their mother. I hope the creators do clarify because this story is really interesing :)

For me the most obvious reasons would be that the Mother died during childbirth, and that the Father feels guily and bitterness towards the child. But I can't help but think it could be from post partum despression as well. When the child is walking though the walls and stopping in front of thr pictute - where the Mother is on bed along with the lyrics, it suggests that they feel resentment for being born. The parts about "delusions," seems to be about the Mother or the child. I'm assuming the blank stare from the Mother is because they only have pictutes of their Mother. That they, the character, is imaging the kind words their Mother says to them as some sort of coping mechanism. When the stuffed animal is on the chair, to me at least, it suggests that's literally their only support system they have. Hence, why they resorted to leaving the world. I feel like the character is angry, hence them picturing that the Mother wants to be together in heaven. The girl must have so much swirling inside them that they did not have a voice, hence, the last lyrics. I think the lies may be that they were an unwanted child and were the cause of their Mother's delusions or downfall from having birth. Either way, the girl must have wanted their death to be symbolic or a message to those who wronged her. No matter how you look at it, people will know why she did it. Bittnerness and spite , and the satification of proving them wrong with yoir death. Though, her Mother clearly died early on; making her having a desire to know about her. But, ultimately that cannot happen. Whatever it is - it's clear it was a major factor in her deciscion.

After watching and re-watching this a few times, here's what I believe is happening: - The protag's mom didn't die during childbirth, the umbilical cord is actually meant to represent the strength of their bond. - The mom hung herself after falling into despair over the abuse of her partner, the protag's father, who seems to be a violent alcoholic (he's even shown to "change" into a monster), and the fact that her prayers weren't helping her. - The protag was likely told by others that "the angels took her" to soften the trauma, but she may very well have found her mom's body (or alternatively, the father told her exactly what happened, and blamed her for it, which may be represented by her strangling her mom with the umbilical cord, and also by angels slicing her to pieces in her dreams + her growing wings in her hallucination). Understandably, the protag's feelings towards God, His angels and the like aren't exactly positive. - The father doesn't want her around, and likely didn't want a kid in the first place, which is mainly why I think that the mom didn't die during childbirth (along with the family photo of all three we see on the wall) - I don't see the father providing for the kid beyond the bare minimum, so the mom was likely who was taking care of her before her death. - The protag ODs at the end, likely on the medication she's been prescribed. :( - BONUS: Maybe the mom is just a petite woman, but it kinda looks like she was a teen when she entered into a relationship with the father (who himself looks like an adult). Could they have met through a church, since the mom seems to have been religious to some degree, or was it somewhere where a rebellious teen (since her alt style contrasts with the repeated scenes and frames of her praying, so perhaps she's a teen that was trying to pull away from a religious upbringing, but fell back into her teachings when the abuse started) could potentially meet an adult (like at a party)?

That’s a good interpretation. I was seeing other people say it could’ve been postmortem too. Or maybe, she died during childbirth and the father blames the daughter. I’m not sure what the angels would symbolize. It’s a stretch, but maybe she feels like heaven turned their back on her? (Going by translated lyrics). Children are supposed to be seen as gifts from heaven, but here? She’s being stabbed by angels.
