I could write a whole essay on their bond and the way everyone oversimplifies them, they literally show more loyalty and devotion and wanting for each other than Daemrya. Criston wants her to love him/care for him the way he does her and when she was a child that was more possible but she’s grown up to be cynical and she can’t even express her care for him even when she knows in her heart she does. Her brother even knows it when she goes to see Cole first over him in episode 6. He knows she wants to see him, cole knows and she won’t admit it to herself

There is a lot of bad to be said about Criston Cole in my opinion, and Alicent as well. But I believe their connection highlights that they are both desperate to find some meaning in a cruel world. They shared the same values, but those values would not allow them to be together. They went against their values to be together, and broke the order they had found in the other. I find it to be both beautiful and tragic, because they couldn't find the answers that they were looking for in eachother, and the world goes on as ugly as ever. It almost feels as though the moment they shared was over before it began.

Bonté divine, Clara, c'est délicieusement diabolique et magnifique d'avoir éditer Criston en train, disons le, de "savourer" Alicent pour les lyrics "I wanna be your vaccuum cleaner, breathing in your dust" oh bordel, rien que le début, grâce à ça, ça frappe :D mais la totalité de l'edit est magnifique et montre tellement toute la passion interdite et sensuelle entre Alicent et Criston, avec le début, discret, légèrement dans l'ombre de Rhaenyra, les parallèles entre leur culpabilité vers les dieux est aussi magnifique, il y aussi plusieurs transitions tellement fluide, surtout pour Criston, qui rende l'edit si agréable à regarder, c'est d'une beauté absolue, un hommage magnifique à cette petite romance qui sort du lot pour cette série et qui à ce charme envoûtant qu'elle partage avec la chanson que tu à choisi, qui est juste parfaite pour eux :D Bravo à toi, et de rien si j'ai pu aider un peu pour Vegas !
