Empties videos are my favorites! I just finished the Isntree chestnut BHA 2% liquid and the COSRX rice overnight spa mask tonight. LOVE the Isntree BHA and will definitely be repurchasing, I get instantly clearer pores without any irritation! The rice mask was just ok. The texture was more like a lightweight moisturizer than an overnight mask. I recently finished up an iNNBeauty Project Slushy as well and I agree, I like it a lot, but not more than my Lipid Gold 😅

I'm in Florida, too, and my faughter and i went to Disney Springs yesterday, 73 when we left the house, felt like 43 by the time we headed home. I was not prepared for that! Had one too many coffees to stay warm and then couldn't sleep. 😢 I love the Kopari Lip Glossy line, but now im going to have to try the Peach and Lily...I'm really into trying peptides right now! I'd love to know where in your routine you use the Lion Pair? I bought a tube from Stylevana as a just in case product (based on your glowing recommendation) I don't typically have a lot of acne, but I'm starting peri-menopause, and getting more breakouts...any advice on the best placement in my routine for this would be wildly appreciated! Thanks for a fun, relaxing video!

Hi Alice! ❤ I wish we could get Stratia here in Canada - would like to try it! I am happy because my skin is happy - I am staying with the same routine and all is well, why mess this up with trying new stuff? I used to use quite a bit of Glow Recipe until my skin started reacting to many of the products - but this bizarre skin sensitivity has lead me to finding some very nice new products that I love even more. I am so excited to receive my orders from Yesstyle - I don't mind waiting, I actually like waiting because when I get my package I usually have forgotten what I ordered and it is a surprise, lol 🤣 I have quite a few lip products on the go right now, but I tried for the first time the lip butter balm from Summer Fridays (it came in a Sephora Favorites lip set) - I like it, I think I would repurchase that one. Have a lovely weekend 😃🌸💮🌸
@AliceintheRabbitHole13 күн бұрын
I know exactly what you mean with not minding the wait! I often worry about the instant gratification we can get through Amazon and the like - i struggle with imagining that humans were built for that. We have never historically had that; is it good now? Meanwhile Yesstyle orders make sense in their transit times LOL Hope you have a lovely weekend too!

Alice, I really enjoy watching videos of your finished products, because you better explain the results that the products gave you. Did you know that Parnell also released a cushion with an incredible selection of shades? I'm so glad that Korean brands are expanding their selection of shades. I wanted to ask you how your skin has behaved with azelaic acid? Because you've been using it for a long time, do you think it's really anti-inflammatory? Has it helped with sun spots? And with the texture of your skin? Now they increased it to 15% and I haven't had any irritation, but I don't have enough time to use it to see the results, that's why I'm asking you. A hug Alice and I hope you're doing very well and happy 🥰
@AliceintheRabbitHole13 күн бұрын
Yes! Yep I absolutely imagine that I’ll pick up that cushion at some point. It sounds marvelous! My timeline with AzA is: I felt it didn’t do very much for 2-3 months, maybe a minor reduction in acne. I upped the usage as I noticed that the studies mostly involved participants using it twice daily. That made a big difference, and I did see the reduction in PIE and better action against acne. I’m years in now, and I have since dropped to once every other day to maintain results ☺️

Cuddled up with a blanket, some chicken rice soup, and a hot drink on a chilly below freezing (only in the 20s fahrenheit, but the night is young) evening, watching Alice is the best way to spend this time! You've got me *so* tempted to try out the parnell cicamanu serum-- I've also been looking at their cushion, which for once, gasp! I might not be choosing the lightest tone??? I think 17c might actually be sufficiently light! But I digress. Next order I place, I think I'm definitely going to pick up the axis-y toner you've been raving about, but I'm torn on the eye serum. I don't particularly have any concerns about my eye area, but I'm wondering if it'd be nice to use something actually meant for the eye area rather than just using what I use on the rest of my face. So, might be worth a shot! just for fun, I thought I'd write out tonight's routine. i doubt anyone was asking, but here's what someone oily skinned but also acne prone has figured out so far. 1- skin1004 centella cleansing oil (testing it out. I've gone through two of the anua one, and i wanted to see if the skin1004 one would be better for me. idk, haven't really noticed a difference other than scent. they're both nice.) 2- isntree green tea fresh cleanser (omg i was so excited when i saw you put it as your #1 of the year! i'm on the last third of this tube, and i've already bought a backup, i love it that much!) 3- isntree green tea fresh toner (i'm torn on this one, idk if i like it or if i feel like it isn't doing much. i'm on my second bottle, so i'll finish this one, but idk if i'll buy it again) 4- pyunkang yul acne dressing mask pack (this was my first time using it-- it's basically a sheet mask, but four big rectangles you can put wherever you want on your face to deal with acne. I just covered my whole face lmao, even cut one of them to fit better on my chin and nose, but I bet you could easily use it on your body as well. haven't noticed much other than hydration so far, but we'll see) 5- APLB glutathione niacinamide serum (aw yeah baby, on my third of these and I bought the two pack so I have a backup ready to go. Love the texture of this, really feels hydrating, and I love that it's such a no-bs no-frills completely to-the-point brand. while fancy packaging and marketing can be fun, i just really appreciate that aplb is like. this is what this has. we put it on the label. enjoy!) 6- Lion Pair Acne Cream (you are absolutely the one who sold me on this. Look at me now. I already have a backup, and I'm not even halfway through this tube. I got the large size,,,,) 7- skin1004 madagascar centella soothing cream (why do they call this a cream it's literally a gel. I do really like it though) 8- APLB glutathione niacinamide body lotion (i also use the body wash of the same line in the shower. i like both. the body lotion is a light cream texture, good for me but if you have a notably dry body, you might find it not enough) BONUS ROUND: hair care! 1- odele smoothing shampoo (smells great, good texture, foams really nice, cuts down on my oily roots without stripping. they have multiple lines for different hair concerns) 2- odele moisture mask (i alternate between this and the smoothing conditioner. with the mask, i actually turn off the water and get out of the shower and sit for about 10 minutes to really let it soak in, before washing it out) 3- shiseido tsubaki premium repair hair water (currently trying this out. after i get out of the shower and have towel dried my hair, i mist it all over my scalp and roots and work it in with my fingers. smells nice.) 4- odele air-dry styler (the single thing to do the most for my frizzy curls. work it into towel-dried hair from a few inches away from the roots all the way to the ends) 5- ogx i forget which oil (worked just into the last inch or two of my hair where it's the driest and frizziest)
@AliceintheRabbitHole13 күн бұрын
I’m tempted by the cushion too! With knowing how much their serum wowed me, I do think I want to give it a go. I can tell you that the axis-y isn’t necessary, but I absolutely think the packaging design is a bit part of what ups the enjoyment; add in a fantastic formula at a good price, and that’s the explanation for why I love it so much haha! That’s exactly what happened to me with the isntree green tea toner. I was using it specifically to pair with LED, but…exact same, I just don’t feel like it did much (whereas I can see the results from so many other toners). Have you tried the Shiseido fino hair mask? It’s nice but SUPER heavy - I’m tempted to try the tsubaki to see if it’s a bit less heavy!
@Eeveecat13 күн бұрын
@@AliceintheRabbitHole I haven't tried the hair masks yet! I was tempted to pick one up, but I couldn't decide which version to go with, and it just sorta overwhelmed me so I didn't get either lmao. I might get one next order though. Still gotta decide which one I want-- good to know the regular one is really heavy. That might be good for my hair though, help tame some of the frizz and define the curls? [thinking emoji] definitely worth a shot!

I heard of the brand Pestlo ages ago for making a mineral sunscreen, the safe recipe one, but never got around to try them and then just forgot. I need to remember to try that on my next haul. I love that By Wishtrend propolis, I too don't use propolis as much but still love both propolis and cica for soothing and dryness.Just wondering have you tried the Anua Azelaic acid?
@AliceintheRabbitHole12 күн бұрын
Safe recipe is a hybrid! I’m unsure if it was reformulated or if there was initial confusion with that one (or if they are being more transparent than western ie benzoyl salicylate) And no I haven’t, didn’t know they have an azelaic 👀 I’ll definitely check that out though!

Finally catching up on KZbin content to the point where I can see something within 24 hours of posting! I'm actually almost done my second ma"nye bifida ampoule and I'm not sure if I'll get another. It's not a bad product, but to me it falls into the HaruHaru category of being good but not making a meaningful change in my skin due to other items. I actually find a strong ginseng product to be more effective in the specific results I want to see from it (I know it's not apples to apples, but still). I did however buy 6 of the Parnell serums through Black Friday sales. I think it's going to replace my Skinfood Royal Propolis product as a soother when the skin is acting up for no reason. As far as the Azelaic Acid, I can buy 15% azelaic acid shipped to the US from both Theramid and recently Facetheory.
@AliceintheRabbitHole12 күн бұрын
That’s a fitting comparison! Yeah the Parnell does remind me of the Skinfood propolis, which I also quit repurchasing…and then forgot about as the Parnell is even better 🤣 I do wish they would come out with a jumbo size though. I totally understand buying 6 as it’s a smaller bottle, and I like to use a good amount as it’s a night serum!

Hello Alice! Do you know anything about Manyo's new bifida product (Bifida infusion shot)? I saw they posted a little bit about it on their instagram a few weeks ago but I haven't seen it anywhere yet! I'm dying to try it since its supposedly the same sponge microneedle tech as in the reedle shot + new bifida complex so what could go wrong lol On another note the azelaic acid percentage "loophole" is so funny Im suprised there's not been more companies doing that ☠

Advanced peptides and antioxidants Dermstore has a set that is 70$ it has those 2 full sizes some other full size products and mini sizes for 70$ the Allies of skin is 120$ by its self and the Murad is like 69$ so it's a great deal . I am actually thinking about getting it because I use the Allies of skin Advanced peptides daily and I just bought one but the deal is so good idk if I can pass it up. Their is a Holy frog products Medick8 marvis toothpaste a pack of like 3 Dr DG peel pads some other stuff and the bag. It was 65$ on the BF deals but it still comes up as 70$ at checkout. Yes I have almost bought it a few times. 😂 U finished alot of stuff chick , I'm always stunned u finish so much because u test so much new items. I finished alot this month and it makes me sad every time especially if it's something I use daily and have to repurchase like the SK11 or Niod CP u know the expensive stuff gets me more then the cheaper stuff but I hate finishing anything and it always seems like I finish it all at the same time so I have to repurchase a lot at the same time ..lol
