You are actually wrong about Maguire and Lindelof and i am going to explain why. If you compare the two then yes Maguire is better. But if you compare who is better playing with a high line it is definitely Linselof. Maguire together with Licha not so good but Lindelof together with Licha is actually pretty good. So therefore if we are going to sell one of them i would sell Maguire first 👌

De Ligt makes so much sense on that right side in the backline. Even if we get Yoro we shouldn't rely on only him in that RCB spot. If we get Branthwaite + Yoro, and have Branthwaite as cover for LCB and RCB, we would most likely have to rely on the 18yo on the RCB in the tricky games. If we get De Ligt + Yoro, we wouldn't have to play Yoro in every match, since we have two really good options for the RCB spot. If we did that the LCB spot would obviously still be the one spot where we have the least cover. But if we sign a LB, the chances are bigger that Luke Shaw could be available to be used as a LCB.

Olmo to United doesn't make much sense imo. He's gonna be really expensive, and his prefered position is already occupied by the best player on the team, Bruno Fernandes. So we would have to either shift Bruno around (RW or CM) or play Olmo on the wing. If we're looking to play Bruno deeper anyway it makes sense. But it would also mean that we're not getting Doué. Imo Doué probably makes more sense given that he's so versataile and could be used all over the midfield and front line, and would be so much cheaper than Olmo. If we get Doué, we wouldn't have to shift Bruno's position unless we really wanted to. More options with him I think.

ETH wants to play 433 although id prefer 4231 so Mainoo could really attack like he does nest. Although playing in a system we always need a CDM so if we'd play with 3 cb if prefer 352 which would be for Hõjlund and zirkzee together and we'd have a different profile out wide. Preferably the players there should be able to play defence do it would make it harder to play rashford and Garnacho or Amad

most of the time you need one to control the tempo or exploit spaces in certain matchups. for example when you create a backline square to create overloads in build up and in the middle. I think the key here is to have all the necessary tools available so we aren't pigeonholed to 1 set of tactic because managers adapt to it pretty quickly in the EPL.
