Indeed i fully agree lisilisin (think i know who you are!) One of the best i heard too. Just like the 2nd Rach. the Liszt Sonata, and so many other works. I never heard her playing this concerto in the Netherlands. Maybe i just missed it.

OK, thanks for this info. Never heard her with Rach.2 here, but there are so many concerthalls, so i probably missed it.

It seems that Madame de Larrocha never played Rach 3 in Netherlands, but she did Rach 2 there.

Anybody who typecasts Alicia as being mostly good in Spanish music has obviously never heard this or her other non-Spanish composers works. The sound quality is poor, the playing by both orchestra and pianist is outstanding. At the end, I noted the usual mistakes. Here are the proper forms: 1) Bravo for the conductor (solo male) 2) Brava for the pianist (solo female) 3) Bravi for the orchestra (Mixed men and women. Can also be used for a group of men only) 4) Brave for a group of women, no men.
