Yes definitely, and I like how she tries to uplift the others despite carrying a heavy burden on her back with her taking care of her family and balancing finances. I hope the debts get resolved at the end of the movie.

I love the scene with her sister- it's so quick, but so impactful and important! Everyone has a place in a household, no matter how big or small, abled or disabled. And when it comes down to it, knowing you CAN do it is more important than the expediency of how you do it. I feel a lot of kids would get this lesson, but the parents would get more out of it too! (Disney moral teachings in a home budget because we didn't get it in the real stuff is ;_; )

Ohhhhh I am immediately ENDEARED to this family. I already love Noni! He reminds me of Grandma from Mulan with that level of spunk and humor. And Alicia's little sister, I adore her already. She's disabled and needs help, but still wants to prove her capability. I love the designs, the sketches, and the backgrounds.

True! I love Noni’s character, and he also reminds me of the grandma from Moana (rest in peace still and may she travel peacefully in the ocean), especially with the storytelling bit that he was enacting about fighting the dragon.

okay, we can now all say for sure, that this had more Disney magic and family chemistry than the OG film. it has everything the family dynamic and using an ability (aka a Disability) and the user wants to show that they can be the helper, not be helped.

Definitely! This feels so much like a Disney film I would watch over and over again than “that” movie. The “movie” was (sadly) rushed for time and it felt like another pander movie for babies. Sorry, no offense intended (to either babies or the general audience). Very sorry. But rant aside, this is a beautiful work of art, and I can’t wait for it to be finished! Edit: forgot the word “film”

I liked this family scene. I like her sister, showing the struggles of her disability, while trying not to let it define her so she can make a possive impact for the family. One of Alicia's flaws that I relate to, is that if she sees something that hasn't been done, she GETS it done. She doesn't like to leave loose ends, even if it's somebody ELSE'S loose end to tie. She works day in and day out JUST to make ends meet day after day! The poor girl. Unlike Asha, who gets to play, dancing around town giving tours. But it makes her so much more likeable and relatable this way!

Oh my gosh! This whole project is so cute! Alicia and The Kingdom of Starlight seems so much like an old-fashioned Disney Movie like Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. It just has so much charm! Great job! 👏

I can identify very well with Alicia's little sister. I also had several problems walking during my childhood and I thought that I could not be useful to my family and now that I have grown up and no longer have to have surgery, I realize that it has always been useful in my own way and despite Despite my limitations I was able to give my best. Alicia's grandfather also looks super adorable and friendly and I like how he tells the story and Alicia's little brothers are truly sweet, they are very cute! and it's also nice that Alicia is in charge of everything since she is the oldest and the one with the most strength. always prioritizing the well-being of her family above all else is very cute and something a real princess would genuinely do.

I'm so happy we get meet Alicia's family at last! Noni is really amazing and very cheeky! I actually have the same problem with walking like Carmen, but I had to wear braces, not a crutch. I think Jack voiced Noni, and I feel its implied that the dad's dead. I'm also thinking that Noni suddenly gets deathly sick, and she either gets fired before or after the king and queen or she takes the day off, so that when they kick her out of the palace, she in desperation decides to ask the stars for help and she sings her 'I Want' song, and then we'll get to meet Aster😁😁😁😁😁!!!!

Yeah, I love she added a disabled character like the “movie” did, but this time the character is her sibling and not some acquaintance. It’ll be interesting to see how Alicia and her sister’s dynamic will form. It looks like it’s starting out stiff, which means there might be strong development coming up ahead. This is such a wonderful way to display the big loving family that Alicia has, it's such a warm and loving environment, it feels so cozy, and I have a feeling that the dad died somewhat recently considering there's a kid who's about 4-5 years old, so I think he died within the last 2-3, which had to have been very hard on the older family members. It's so good to see Alicia help her little sister and tell her she isn't useless, she's such a good sister!

First impression: YEAH! MEETING THE FAMILY! Grandpa Nonni playing the blame game alongside the other children made me laugh and delightfully illustrates his youthfulness at heart. Getting real: That talk between Alicia and Carmen hit home so well for me! I relate to Carmen’s insecurity about feeling “useless” (the word itself is almost triggering for me). I just know that comment must have come from someone who (whether from experience or in-depth research) knew exactly what they were doing with the dialogue. Thank you for portraying that exchange as you did! Beautiful work as usual! Still loving it. Loving everyone who worked on this. Keep it up.

I honestly love Alicia and her sister's interaction. While I'm not physically disabled, I do have a mental disability (ADHD) in my wacky brain that works differently, and seeing Alicia react in such a sweet way reminded me of how my own big sister reacts since both are very gentle with their sisters. Also, I love Noni and the little brothers to bits already, the way that they all just point at each other is just EXTREMELY BABY COUSIN WORTHYYYY!!! I LOVE IT!!! ❤️

another wonderful update! Grandpa blaming others for the broken stool was a funny character moment, especially the way it was formulated. "As a mature and responsible adult, I would just like to say... I LOVE THE FAMILYS DYMAIC OMGG!!! Even with 3 minutes, i already feel so cozy, which is exactly what Old disney brings when it comes to family dymaics! I feel like i am actually there and being invested in Grandpa Nonni's story! The family isn't the richest, and they sure do struggle, but you could tell even under these circumstances they are comfortable and feel like home ❤❤ This definitely gives Alicia so much depth to not just her but her family as well because this movie shows us what's important to Alicia instead of just caring all about her 100 year old grandpas wish

The moment i saw a new Alicia video, i clicked. Also I love how Alicia and Carmen have a wholesome sisterly moment, the grandpa being fun, goofy and how he blame the babies of the house. Also there are references to the little mermaid, tangled, and sleeping beauty. Lastly, when the grandpa was telling the younger ones about fighting a dragon, it reminds me of John and Michael playing from Peter Pan. Amazing work! 😍

Finally, it feels like this part took forever to be posted. The family is cute. I'm assuming Andre is the primary caretaker of Dominic, right? Past 3 suggested that. Since this is a magical fantasy, I would find it nice if Carmen could have her leg fixed by "you know who". She may not be useless now but I'd be happy for her if she had nothing hindering her regular life. We have a miracle worker on the way. Here's just one hint of feedback; I see some level of goofiness in some characters and with modern Disney, we've definitely got a ton of those. However, keeping silly and serious even, like in Kung Fu Panda is a good strategy.
