The fact that the greatest fashion designer in the world, an aspiring model maker, an extremely famous model, the animated version of Miranda Priestly and her preppy and vain daughter are wearing the same clothes and combinations in every episode has always been very strange to me. I understand that it's complicated to change the designs for every little thing, but they could have made more detailed models or at least five or six of them.

i feel like 2d shows are better at it somehow. ive been watching sailor moon and from what i can tell they had a very tight budget (they repeatedly use some frames / scenes, backgrounds are either vague or Just Some Colours etc) but characters have at least some clothes to wear...

In fact, there is an episode (unfortunately I don't remember which one) that briefly explains their "disguise". The masks of transformations are not like any other common masksXD Idk how I can explain bc it's kind of complex (sorry ;-;) But if I can summarize, it is bc of the material of the mask that allows our heroes to not be identified, probably something to do with magic

3d artist here! Your model looked great! It's normal when sculpting to work with alot of polygons. After you get the model how you like it, you retypologize it (which is kind of like inking a sketch in the way that you use a few purposeful polygons to form the shape instead of many thousand). After that, you can rig it no problem. If you don't want to retypologize, you could try going back into nomad and reducing the polygon count with the remesh button. It will look almost 'pixelated' in a sense, because the polygons will not be following the flow of the character like it should, but you could reduced the polygon count a great deal without loosing too much quality. Happy modeling!

ah… the allure of the donut tutorial. while it teaches you a lot of sculpting tools, what it doesn’t do is show you how to make a riggable model. the sculpted marinette needed to be retopologized before putting bones in. if you ever decide on taking the higher-poly 3d plunge again, check out dikko’s character modelling playlist. it covers how to get a sculpt to a poseable model in a relatively beginner-friendly way. the low poly model looks very cute, though!

It feels like they only added this idea of the mindset affecting your hero outfit just to explain why Ladybug's outfit looked bland without considering what this says about the other Miraculous holders. So the show is trying to tell us that everyone, like Adrien and the classmates, were confident about being a hero so they got interesting or detailed hero outfits and Mari was the only one who had doubts about herself so she got a simple outfit? She overcame her doubts at the end of Origins, yet her hero outfit didn't change either. It also makes no sense since other characters like Mylan and Juelika are also anxious and have doubts yet don't get the same treatment. Honestly, they should have given Mari a more detailed hero outfit from the beginning instead of trying to excuse the design choice with her.

I've always had this thought that she always wants to wear fancy dresses and outfits, but living in a city which is constantly attacked by villains made purely by negative feelings, she decides tp make sure her outfit is stylish(which she fails misrebly at) but she can also fight a bitch in(or run, more likely). Also, this way, if her cloths get ruined, she cant get accumatized because of it. These are what i think her reasons are.
