I was 13 when this movie dropped, and I graduated in 99. When I tell you my ENTIRE wardrobe in high school was inspired by Clueless. A lot of those outfits Cher & Dionne wore were classic. The red plaid peacoat fit with the beret is in my closet now. 👌🏾

@@GranTube Knee high socks 🧦. Similar to the movie, I (we) wore chunky loafers or Mary Janes. Then the knee high socks went w/ “kilt” or a pleated skirt. I had some knee socks that were closer to opaque tights & others that were the warmest I could find.

She really did age very well. And this is actually possible for everyone to achieve this, and as long as they are healthy throughout their lives (no drinking/smokin, and getting proper sleep, etc.) and have average or better genes.

Edith Head was the queen of the wardrobe in Hollywood's golden age, and Katherine Hepburn was a tomboy too herself irl. When Edith Head dressed her for movie roles, however, she was transformed into a beautiful swan too. I just love how the behind the scenes stories unfold after the movies are finished. It takes a village to raise a stars 🌟 power!

I’m her age and this movie was the BEST thing we got to see Alicia in! She was always so cool, she had such a fun personality. I’ve known people who’ve worked with her in passing and she’s supposedly very down to earth and modest. She really was acting in the part of Cher, but, the “Haiti-ens” line was all her, she did not know how to pronounce “Haitians” and Amy kept it in and it was PERFECT.

I have one little problem with Alicia Silverstone. WHY WONT SHE AGE!!!! she looks fantastic. I am older, so clueless, while extremely relevant to 1995 was not in my reality. I had an 11 yr old by then. But as she has aged, I can better appreciate what she did THEN. She basically did cher again in beauty shop, but I loved it. Anyway....WTF ALICIA? I was in highschool at the time. We all dressed business casual most of the time. There were t shirt and jeans days, and Matrix leather jacket moments, but most of the time we ironed our white shirts. I dressed like Dana Scully by my senior year.
