Here's the difference between Jimmy and other late night hosts: Jimmy fishes for compliments for, what seems to be, almost a minute (beginning at 2:00).. whereas Conan, for example, would do so for merely 5 seconds and MOVE ON. Jimmy is simply too young to be considered a "great" interviewer. He is childish and undeniably narcissistic IN TOO MANY OF THE WRONG WAYS.

@Ward4138 жыл бұрын
While I don't record/watch Fallon anymore, to honestly think he's more attention seeking that Conan is laughable. Conan is the most redundant person I've ever seen on TV. He does the same bits over and over again. I used to love Conan but I think the out pouring of support (deserved) he got after the whole Leno/Tonight Show situation screwed with his head; he just doesn't try as hard anymore. Ever since he started his TBS show it's just the same low budget crap with repeated jokes in between. At the beginning of the show as he walks out, he continuously makes the same comments about the screaming audience sounding like X - he has maybe two or three variations of what he says. How about If one of his monologue jokes contains the name of a business/corporation - without fail, he will then ask his producer if they're a sponsor and, if they are, he'll yell at said producer for not telling him. It's the same bit over and over again. Even the string dance used to be unique, now he does it three out of four shows. He has moments of genuine, spontaneous humor but most of them have become the same stored line or joke he just repeats throughout the week. There are many other examples but I haven't watched his show in a year so they're not fresh in my mind. He said himself, he plays to his studio audience. I think that's the issue. That entire audience are a bunch of die hard fans who will literally laugh at any and everything he does - it requires minimal effort. He's not thinking about all the folks watching from home who get tired of the same repetitive jokes/bits. It gets so old. This is coming from someone who had a viewing party when he got The Tonight Show. He used to be one of my favorites. He changed. For fuck sake, Andy Richter should host and Conan should be sidekick.

I worked on a turtle farm as my first real job. Not counting mowing lawns in my younger years. I was staying with the family. They let me stay in their guest room so i spent some time in the house when not at work and i was the only one there at the moment. It was a slow day and i got off early. A swedish lady called to inquire about turtles. I took the message and got off the phone thinking, omg that accent was so adorable. I felt so lucky having that moment to myself. I truly adore women in general but some seem to really get me going so to speak. Also, sometimes you can sense the sweethearted kindness in the voice of women (and men i suppose). If i was to say what is the most treasure thing in this world to me, it's the voice of a sweethearted nice lady whispering nice things in my ear (none of that ASMR crap! the fake shit don't cut it for me). If she's Swedish well... i'm sure i'd love that even more. Everyone has that thing. That one thing that they love. That's my thing. Some people even have that one person. Omg, at 40, i still dream of that day. I meet her, and actually know it. Actually connect with her enough to manifest a future with her. Only in my dreams. Never married, never had kids... still the most eligible bachelor. Except for one thing... I'm poor.
