The girls' "reading" is a wonderful step toward reading. They have learned that printed words convey meaning. Soon they will be able to "write" a note/story and "read" it to you. As a retired teacher, I am still amazed at how much children learn so early in life!

Don't be sad." and then after Guin said she was crying, Ana stroked her head again and said, "Don't cry."I can't get over how well they're talking. I had to chuckle over "Gimme.
