Babies are egocentric by nature. So, the hardest thing for them to accept is not getting what they want when they want it. I love that Alicia makes no big deal when their nature and necessary learning are at odds. No big deal! It's all part of development. As they prepare for preschool, accepting a NO when offered by an adult in charge is so valuable because there'll be plenty of them in school/life. I love watching you all and thank you, Alicia, for being brave, trusting and loving enough to put your parenting skills and your babies on display. Please know that you and the girls NEVER need to perform for us. We appreciate whatever is comfortable and natural for you all.❤

It would be a pretty short video if Alicia decided to say no to everything. It is only about 10 minutes we see them each day, so their parents have plenty other opportunities to say no. Also, they are still sick and need comfort and a soft voice at this time.

It’s good that just because one baby is crying, the other observes but doesn’t cry. It seems that recently, they start eating their food until a fruit is introduced. Once that happens, they seem uninterested in their other food and just want more fruit. Still, it’s amazing to see them eat such a wide variety of foods. Their sweet little voices are so fun to listen to.

You are a great mom and the babies are precious! As a mother of five, I recognize the signs of terrible twos coming your way. The girls are so sweet but i notice that when they want something and you don't give it right away they are learning if they pitch a fit you will give it to them. I just wanted to let you know the habit in that will be difficult to break as they grow older. Just a bit of wisdom from a grandma. Thanks for sharing your babies.
@Jam221134 ай бұрын
At 7:15 you can see that Guinevere accepts when she doesn't get something and you can explain it to her in an understandable way. This understanding and the ability to understand the facts comes slowly at this age. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. Both girls are very intelligent, as is their mother, who knows that a no will be understood with a comprehensible explanation.
@gloriabebop53134 ай бұрын
Thanks grandma for your wisdom about the "terrible twos"! But I think this mom will be on top of it! I think because they still don't feel all better she let's them get away with somethings, but when they feel better she will correct them , she is a smart mom ❤ 6:55

That gadget might work on grape tomatoes, & it'd be fun to try. I just love when Anna watches Gwen's drama like, "Really? What's all that about?" So funny!
