It's "indian food" restaurant. Not to be confused with Indian Restaurant. Idk if she thinks of it this way too, but the way I think of it is, Taco Bell is a "mexican food" restaurant, NOT a Mexican Restaurant.

About the cow thing. My dad (who is Hindu) explained it to me like this: When a child is born, they get all their nourishment from the mom's breastmilk, but when that child becomes a toddler, it doesn't drink the breast milk anymore right? What does it drink next? Cow's milk. So that cow is almost like a 2nd mother in that regard - it provides nourishment to the child after the baby has grown. That's why the cow's life is cherished. I'm not Hindu, but that was his explanation. Makes sense.

4:55 Ironically, yes. Here in Germany we have HUNDREDS of types of bread. So we call "Naan", "Naan bread" and "Toast", "Toast bread" or "white bread" (well, I'd say most germans would call it "an insult to bread"). Tortilla are, weirdly, just called by their name here. Maybe because of their "connection" to Tortilla chips (Nachos).

On the head movements, in Mexico we actually have a line in the bro code for it. If you tip your head forward as in a nod to another guy it's like saying "Hello" or "Good day." But if you do that exact same thing but backwards it's taken as a "what's up?" Simply seeing if the moves goes up or down you know how men here know each other.

I just got ptsd flashbacks from my dad teaching me how to drive. My god he put the fear of messing up in me. Like yelling that I’m not slowing down fast enough and that I’m going to rear end someone only for 20 minutes later him telling me to ease into the stop so the car doesn’t shake much. He drove professionally in the Caribbean before gps was a thing. I’m just here low key trying my hardest to stay calm and focused while behind the wheel and not have a panic attack.

2:32 Its like the cool hotdogs in chile, if you notice some things like dirty botles of any sauces with hard traces of the ketchup or mustard, or even hot sauce you know you will have a good meal, like, you will know the word "life" and many more other things. Like, that cheap ketchup and mayonese with the cheap ass mustard with radioactive colour makes it more delicious.

9:25 Yeah Japanese def does the same thing, little acknowledgement noises Also saw Mr Floofy in Vegas, was amazing. Started banter with some Aussies way in the back and then when the timer on stage said show was over he flipped it over and kept going another half hour. Also I recall he made a tiktok where he used mousey's audio and a clip of her reacting to it. Would love to see him on speak of the devil

Alicia Chai tea means the Indian tea. People normally say naan bread because they don't speak Hindi, they don't know WTF naan means. So they say naan bread and everyone goes "oh that type of bread".

That whole "ah" thing seemed universal to me, like it shows you're listening, like when someone is going on a long tangent, I say "uh huh" or "yea." It's just a form of acknowledgement. Head movement included, head up and down when agreeing, and head left and right when disagreeing.

Alicia I think the reason people refer to it as "naan bread" is because It's quite literally a type of bread distinct from the common European bread that looks like a smooth brown turd while Naan looks like a fluffy pancake. So I think it's more of a distinction thing especially when you have like 30 different types of bread based on origin and what its made of.
