We actually see this twice in flashbacks. It's interesting to compare the flashbacks to what ACTUALLY happened since it shows that the characters can be unreliable narrators, like people in real life. 😁

Love the casual kisses between Luz and Amity and them just being such a healthy couple. This show is great at normalising queer relationships, also "sweet potato" is the most adorable thing.

12:51 I'm always amused by how quickly Willow shifts from menacing to eagerly friendly. Like, she doesn't even wait for Amity to answer, she just immediately gets into position to get her hair braided. And seeing the two of them work on mending their friendship is also really nice.

I thought they were a different color at first too but no they’ve always had a black earring Edit: so I rewatched the episode (it was edited out in her video) Raines earring DOES decay but it reverts back after Eda stopped playing. So again, it did decay but the color was always black and not a result OF the decay
