She gave up her strength buff, normally she only ever does one and keeps that active. If she does two then she isn't further strengthening her body.

@@Alellion its the latter, her muscles are just from her build, she is a hero, works with military and just worked out a lot. The super strength is like an around buff to help her deal with bigger things. I imagine it also lets her hide her true power by showing off mostly just super strength in front of the public.

@@Alellion The point of her build is so her body can handle the power she puts into it with her quirk. Its the same reason All Might is so buff and why Deku has to train his body. Her quirk can buff her strength but only to the point it wont destroy her body. She wanted to emulate All Might including his power so her default is to have a command always doing so in battle and that usually is more than enough given she also has a free command to use.

Hello Aliciaxlife i am not sure you understood when she said when all might saved her. let me explain she was the girl in the first my hero academia movie called two heroes in the beginning of the film all might had a flash back on when he met his united states friend David Shield. in the flash back the robber was about run over a car in traffic that was stars and stripes family and her younger sister and young all might come to save that event was 20 years ago. go check it out the movie to get what i mean. That little girl become inspired by all might and become stars and stripes i love how she calls all might "master" the amount of respect she has for him shows in this episode. who would have thought that little girl in the my hero academia first film was her that is crazy. soo beautiful ❤

New Order is one of those anime super powers that just hits you in the face with "yeah i gave this character basically god powers, fuck you gonna do about it?" its such a STUPIDLY broken quirk to have, and Star makes insanely good use of it with her quick and clever ways of thinking. the only downside is, of course, there are some very specific limits to how it works and if the enemy can catch on to those then it makes it a bit trickier to use well. also a little callback to the first movie, Two Heroes: when Dave is scanning All Might and they talk about how the Symbol of Peace is disappearing, Dave mentions how "America could use you, All Might." well they didn't get All Might, but Star here stepped tf up and made her name as the strongest gods-damned woman on the planet instead. and we love her for that, absolute QUEEN

As hype as it is, this episode is pretty bad. They spend 10 minutes explaining to the audience how Star's power works..... Then, they spend 10 minutes on Shigaraki explaining to himself how Star's power works. It reminded me of that episode where All Might and AFO both spent the entire episode explaining how AFO was in Shigaraki's head. Hopefully, that's not a bad sign for the season.
