Natalia, at least in the comics is one of the Soviet Union's attempts at making a super soldier to answer the US's Captain America. She's more of a slow burn super soldier, she can outcompete most people even in Olympic feats, but her physical abilities fall short of Captain America's. Her chief advantages are her mental capabilities and her longevity. Even in her 70s she still looks like she's in her 20s. Though I suspect the Soviet's view her biggest drawback was that she's too clever to control or predict.

1st, so happy to see her in better shape. 2nd, Mk.5 (the suitcase armor) is designed to be easily carried and fast suited, so it only basically runs with tony’s “chest battery”, in that case it doesn’t approve any flying ability or any heavy gears. 3rd, Natasha is the “Black Widow”, she’s genetically modified and trained emotionlessly by “Hydra”, so basically she is a “better version” human. And about her movie, it has never come true, but they have made a series instead. 4th, Ironman 3’s story takes place after the first Avengers movie, and it’s pretty much important. 5th, Pew! Pew!

In the early days of Marvel Comics, they came up with what they called a "No Prize" which was when fans would write letters pointing out things that didn't make sense , and the writers would come up with an explanation and post a reply in the back pages of the next book, then declare that fan had earned a "No Prize". It was a money issue. Terence was told he would be paid a higher salary than they cut his salary way down so he refused to reprise the part. And Don Cheadle got the part instead. Comedian Gary Shandling plays Senator Stern. Back in the 70's - 80's comics Tony's Iron Man suit fit into a briefcase he kept near him at all times. The actual suit design in this movie is reminiscent of the Scarlet Centurion armor which was one of the more popular versions of Tony's Iron Man armors. 😂 Randy's Donuts is a real franchise. Sadly that location I believe has been shut down. In the MMORPG game City of Heroes one of the zones in one of the restricted areas had a Drenched Donuts which sported a large pink donut on its roof for heroes to fly through and get an exploration badge if they landed inside the donut. 😂 Black Widow is an Olympic level athlete so she is un-enhanced. That said she is highly skilled in hand to hand combat and carries a variety of tech gadgets on her to help take down her foes. Such as the stun discs, her Widows Bite which are the bracelets on her wrists which are basically industrial grade tazers that shoot out electrical blasts. She also knows a lot about human psychology which she uses to great effect. She is trained in a variety of weapons including pistols and using nunchuks or a bo staff. 😂 The Ant-Man Thanos was a meme only. But The Boyz show actually did it on their show. 😮

The reason why it's Don chedle playing rhodie, is because of the original actor, Terrance Howard, having a disagreement with the studio trying to violate contract and pay him less. When the first Ironman movie was in production, Terrance Howard had to fight to get Robert Downey Jr to be ironman, he took a pay cut (even though under contract for a fixed amount) for them to allow RDJ to play ironman. In this film, the studio knew RDJ was a hit as ironman, so when they were to try and pay him more, they tried to pay Terrance Howard less again, violating the contract, and Terrance Howard refused to play the role until he was paid for his contract...... Sam Rockwell is so good as Justin Hammer! Such an absolute tool but it's easy to see how he could be a big name in the industry. Also love the little detail that he's really good at playing dumb when Tony confronts him on stage despite Vanko's name being dropped.

Some states in America are almost as bad as Canada as far as castle doctrine goes. In New Jersey, for instance, you are legally obligated to flee your home if an intruder breaks in and are only allowed to defend yourself if there is no viable means of escape.

31:17 Yes Alicia. That is totally completely ultra canon. Do not believe what everyone else says- Oh also fun fact: Hulk and Ironman 2 as well as Thor kinda take place in the same week. It was officially deemed "Nick Fury's Big Week". Meaning these movies for the most part are happening simultaneously. Which I think is cool.

speaking of that awesome fight scene vs the bionicle drones you can tell it was choreographed by genndy tartakovsky because of all the oil used as blood splatter. he did the same in samurai jack and is so good at visual storytelling with framing and movement, often without even using words

I can't believe this. I stayed because you told me to and I got booped instead. I'll never recover from this. Also, I don't think anyone can be mad at you for not knowing Marvel comics or the MCU. I grew up with Marvel stuff and MCU made me geek out (lots of times, but not always). Honestly, I think we're all just excited for you to discover MCU. There are ups and downs. But there are some epic ups in there. Iron Man is such a strong start for the MCU too. Can't wait for you to get to Avengers films and the 2nd Captain America movie (that one's my favorite solo movie).

2:31 if you ever have the time, the show "Daredevil" is amazing with that kind of choreography. The main character needs stitches after almost every fight he has. It has amazing writing and characters as well. My favourite marvel show by far!

If you want to see some of the best acting RDJ's ever done, watch 'Chaplin'. He does *such* a magnificent job portraying Chaplin, that the director (Richard Attenborough) just used actual Chaplin films and footage where needed. And you can barely tell.

Terrance Howard the original Rhodes actor refused to take a pay cut for the sequel even though everyone else did so his role was recast. It's funny because I worked with his brother whose a cool dude but clearly doesn't have a strong attachment to him. Also this movie gets a lot of flak because it's considered poor especially because of Tony's behavior during the film. But most people don't realize that he's dying & he knows it. He either dies a terribly slow death via his own cure by palladium poisoning or he ends his life faster by removing it only for the shrapnel in his chest to kill him. My only real complaint in this film is we didn't get more Ivan Vanko & the final battle felt short.

Black Widow was trained as a spy in the Red Room, and she possess expert knowledge about the practice of espionage. She uses her physical attractiveness to her advantage as a spy, manipulating others through seduction. Unlike many superheroes, Black Widow is not associated with superhuman powers. Instead, she underwent biochemical modification while training in the Red Room, increasing her physical prowess and slowing her aging. Black Widow is a master of hand-to-hand combat, with training in aikido, boxing, judo, karate, and savate. She also has training in most weapons and can operate most vehicles. Outside of combat, Black Widow is a gymnast, and she was taught ballet while in the Red Room. She is fluent in Chinese, English, French, German, and Russian, among other languages.

@@the_dropbear4392 It's honestly a well-known statement. But anyway, the issues were on both sides. One felt he deserved more money than than RDJ, who played the main character, despite Rodey being a side character in the first movie. The other felt any black guy would be suitable for the position and that no larger payouts were needed. And I meant what I said. It was everywhere.

Alicia, Black Widow is THE Spy/Assassin. She's peak human potential within her field and a borderline super soldier with minor physical augmentations. I was never particularly interested in her in the comics, but ScarJo made her a lovable character in these movies.

The Antman thing is a meme. The joke was that the reason Antman wasn't in Thanos' first movie was because he would defeat him instantly by going up his ass and growing back to normal size. The Marvel What IF series later references this when The Wasp flies inside a zombie and explodes it.
