I am a muslim from Algeria who lived in there during the civil war. The hijab is not mandatory in Islam. Islam has recommended Satr al Awra ie not dress in a provocative way, and never mentioned the hijab nor the niqab...Islam has never asked women to dress like catwomen...also wearing the hijab is counter productive as it tells the world I am muslim and in the world we live in you attract discrimination...Religion should be private. Try you best to be muslim and get hassanat but dont try to impose it on others. The Taliban their first measure was to impose veil on women, and make them stay at home. This is not Islam sorry. Khadija one of the prophets wifes was a business woman and thats how she met the prophet SAWS. Completely opposite to the fanatics who say women should stay home and do nothing.

Modesty is commanded by God for Muslims and People of the Book, if covering the head is a sign of your devotion to God and you desire to please him then go for it! No one should criticize your decision. However, i know plenty of good Muslims that don’t cover their head and are not immodest, they just interpret the verse for modest dressing differently. Know this however, we Men are 10 times more responsible and accountable before God for what we do with our eyes than what you do with your head.

@@Drooblemeister sorry, but let’s just say how things are, and not try to change them to accommodate to the current “liberal” ideology. If god decreed something, it’s because it’s good for us, and if there was no guilt in that verse, we shouldn’t be guilty of it either. Be proud of your religion and don’t try to change things. Modesty is the way of life, clothes too, but that ayah was talking generally. It wasn’t really about hijab so don’t conclude anything wrong from little information Covering up your head is mandatory. No “bad interpretation“ can change that. It’s pretty much obvious that people who say that are ignorant to their own religion. If you read our prophet’s biography, there was a time when women didn’t cover up their hair, and later on they were decreed to do so. How can you say it’s something “optional”. Honestly, every woman who doesn’t cover up, deep down knows that she’s doing something wrong. But society continues telling them it’s ok, and they start molding their mind to it. That’s brainwashing honestly, but we as a umma are now pretty weak in faith and are giving up our self respect, religious beliefs and even trying to change some interpretations just to please the western society. Can’t we just be independent and free? We are submitting to them willingly, it’s almost ridiculous. Notice when someone feels guilty of not covering up their hair, you felt the need to say that men are the ones who should lower their gaze first? Now, that statement is true, but we are not talking about men at all. Still, you felt the need to say that (cuz media grilled it inside your brain) and from there you also degraded the importance of hijab, concluding that hijab is optional. Which is completely wrong.

With the understanding in mind that the Quran is the perfect and exact beautiful words of Allah, you study the book cover to cover by yourself, without the aid of human scholar reinterpretation. Our all-knowing and all-powerful Allah doesn’t need the assist of other humans to communicate his message. Iam a Christian and I really love the concept of wearing hijab. It is a beautiful sign of a modest and humble woman who lives under the shadow of God. It is like showing the world that appearance is just a superficial thing but true beauty lies in submission to God's commandments.
@arsh61862 жыл бұрын
Firstly, teach men to control their temptations The problem is nobody highlights the significance of modesty for men The hijab applies to men as well "Modesty applies to both men and women" The problem is men are more likely to fall into bad habits like doing drugs, smoking, drinking alcohol and porn addiction as compared to women they are more exposed to this fitna Sadly, women have this addictions too but the percentage is less as compared to men When a woman passes by on streets majority of the men checkout on her they don't see a human being who deserves respect, they see a piece of flesh walking by Muslim men too do that Allah commands modesty for men first men are supposed to lower their gaze men are supposed to keep a beard men are supposed to guard their private parts men are not supposed to wear too tight pants men are not supposed to wear shorts above their knees the arwah of a man in front of other man is from knee to navel men are not supposed to expose their chest in front of non mehram women or roam in public shirtless we see many Muslim men who don't dress in modest Islamic clothing but they point fingers on sisters Have you ever seen parents forcing their sons to lower their gaze and telling them to keep a beard? most parents wouldn't even care to teach them about this they won't teach their sons to control their temptations But they would shame their daughter they would put extreme restrictions on her which are not even mentioned in quran They don't teach their daughter why they should cover they'll just say cover yourself! or else you'll burn if you don't cover people will shame us And other Muslim also judge girls who don't wear hijab we are constantly judge whether we wear hijab or not Is that a way to correct someone? if you really wanna correct someone, correct them in a respectful manner. Be gentle don't humiliate that person. Dear Women, you are special, valuable and powerful unleash your inner power some women choose to follow men they try to attract men while other choose to follow their dreams Don't be so cheap to sell your beauty your youth your chastity just for the sake of attention In Islam, women are regarded as precious gems every valuable thing is covered In Quran, Allah commands men to wear modest clothes and commands them to lower their gaze Islam teaches men first to respect women and then Allah commands women to wear modest clothes and Muslim men cannot force women to wear Hijab MODESTY APPLIES TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN AND MEN PLEASE STOP TEACHING WOMEN HOW TO DRESS FIRST LEARN TO BEHAVE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS The majority of the Muslim men don't follow the teachings of Islam and because of that non-Muslims think Islam is harsh Islam has liberated the status of women sister your body is not for public consumption In the west women are reduced to objects in the name of fashion your worth will be defined by the beauty of your soul, heart, and moral character Don't let society dictate what beauty means It doesn't come from showing off your body In this age of nudity, the more you reveal the cheaper you are regarded, even If the western world makes you feel you are liberated Hijab includes the way a person walks, talks, looks, and thinks, and it applies to both men and women In Islam, women are not born to impress men People fail to realize that actually dressing half-naked means going back to STONE AGE! be like a diamond precious and rare not like a pebble found every where... Hijab forces a person to look at a man/woman with respect rather than as an object Man in early times was almost naked and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes Hijab repersents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive It's removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times Does moon loses it's beauty when it's covered by clouds? No similarly your beauty does not fade when covered by Hijab women should learn to protect themselves your body your responsibility! no matter how much you educate and protest rapes will still happen nobody will come to protect you nobody cares!! learn to take a stand for yourself even dead women are raped living women are no exception for rapsists these beasts will not see how young, old you are they won't see what you are wearing coz Muslims who cover themselves from head to toe in loose veil in the daylight are sexually harassed you'll find articles on that in news these morons will not see whether you are living or dead learn to protect yourself stop depending on men for your safety

Those who fight for the hijab are fighting for the chains. Hijab is a piece of cloth that was given to the women, by Muhammad, as per the request of Umer, so that they would not be identified when they went out in the open space to defecate(Q33:59). When He saw that women are an obstacle to his loot, murder and making women sex slaves, he wrapped them in black sack and ordered not to educate them. He asked men to beat the women who don’t obey(Q4:34) and made them the tillage of men(Q2:223). Made her powerless by making her “one in four”(Q4:3). Told, she had only half brain(Q 2:282). Asked men to talaq her, at his own will. But in the age of internet, realising that there is a world beyond their home, Muslim women picked up the book. When she started asking questions, the religious leaders and the Mahal goons were shaken. These goons want to tie muslim women along with the cows in the barn. Those who fight for the hijab are fighting for the shackles of the Muslim female community. Islam does not respect women’s education, freedom, and rights. Hijab is a conspiracy encouraged by Muslims to create an insult that all Muslim women and Non-muslim women who don't wear Hijab are Naked!! Hijab is an insult to all Women! Hijab is the symbol of slavery. Hijab is a sign of patriarchy over women. O, ye women, you have nothing to loose, fight for freedom. Burn Hijabs!!! End note : Watching women defending Islam is like watching chickens defending KFC.

I had this exact , or almost exact , same debate with my younger sister. She’s a beautiful young woman , who is always being chased after my men and sometimes even women. She loves that attention ( most people do ). So one time I asked her about her attire or look in general, and why she chose to look that way. She replied that it made her feel good. My reply to her was that what made her feel good was the attention and reaction she received by looking a certain way. The clothes and make up and hair and so on, are the tools used to attain a certain reaction. That reaction is the intended result to which makes her feel good. We went back and forth for a while and then I simply asked, if everyone in the world was blind , would you dress like that ? Taking it further, if you stayed at home where no one ever saw you, would you look like that ? There’s nothing wrong with wanting to look clean and tidy and presentable, however, don’t lie to yourself and think that what you’re doing isn’t directly related to the result you aim to get. We’re all vain to a certain degree.

I'm 20 and I started wearing the hijab 4 months ago, it's the best desicion i have ever made 🤍🤍 society puts so much pressure on women to look pretty and show themselves off to the public, but i believe we can be beautiful even when we are covered up, and we deserve to be respected and loved and treated as humans regardless of the way we look like like. Hijab conceals our beauty and keeps it for ourselves and for our future loved one and I don't think it could be anymore special. As a Muslim woman, women in the west should understand that we are not opressed, we are free from society and the beauty standards. May Allah guide all my sisters to wear it 🥺🤍

@TanjirowGhamadow2 жыл бұрын
I understand what you mean, but it is a choice. Humans have free will, we can worship Allah or not worship, that is an individual choice. There are NO obligations, but a perfect vision of life. No restrictions, but redirections to a better way. Your argument is for non-Muslims not easy to understand, because they don't have basic knowledge about islam. Coming back to my point, there is a difference in GOOD choice and BAD choice, both are determined on what is written in the Qu'ran. But there is NO obligation in the way like, YOU HAVE TO DO IT. If you don't do it, it will be a BAD choice and it will be your own free will. Nothing is obligated in islam, you can follow or don't follow. BUT there is consquences and these acts define your level of faith. For example: you are not allowed to drink alcohol, but making that choice is up to you. You can make a GOOD or BAD choice in this situation and this results in consequences. If you don't drink, that will be good for you. If you drink, that will be bad for you. So there is only choices, no obligations. A Muslim is not just worshipping the creator because of obligation, but also because of free will, because the heart wants it, becaue it gives peace and calmness and it is the real purpose of this world. So again, there is NO obligation, there is a FREE WILL, a choice.

@@TanjirowGhamadow Do you say the same thing when it comes to the obligation to pray the five prayers? Do you stop praying when you stop feeling those butterflies in your stomach? And let's get away from religious duties. Do you say that too when it comes to the government laws? How many people wear the mask every day even though they find it difficult to breathe, understand the other person badly or simply don't feel like it? Or find it pointless and see no protection in it? And do you also pay taxes out of conviction? Why does this question of love of an action (free will) only come into play when it comes to hijab or Islam in general!?
@TanjirowGhamadow2 жыл бұрын
@@acscdgdk There is no obligation in anything in islam in terms of 'you have to do it'. Humans are created with free will, we can make the choice. A certain topic can be obligated, but acting according the obligation is a choice. So yes, prayer is an obligation, but performing the prayer is a choice. I didn't make this part clear in my previous comment, I apologize. With THERE ARE NO OBLIGATIONS, I am referring to making certain choices. Something can be obligatory, but that doesn't mean you have to do it. And if you don't do it, this has consequences, but still your own choice. You can either make life easy for yourself or destroy it, again by your own choices. Government laws are human made, the Qu'ran is not the word of a human. It's not comparable. Also understand that government laws are not always good, but the Qu'ran is perfect.

I have a comment.. I'm as an Arab girl and living in Arab country I realized something: Because we in our countries mix culture with religion a lot, young people _ especially_ started to think that "everything we live with" is part of Islamic rules, so when our families enforce their unfair culture in us, we start to think "this is because Islam", we start to not distinguish between culture which made by people and true Islam which came down from Allah almighty.. And those young _ because they don't learn Islam by themselves_ they leave Islam in whole out of anger looking for freedom and Justice in another ways.. and this happen usually with women who think that hijab is against freedom of women, hijab is because man is higher than woman in all cases, hijab is to protect men , and hijab is an oppression.. etc. I loved her humbleness by the way.. She was respectful to listen whether she convinced or not 💗 May Allah guide us all to the truth.

I am a hijabi, I wear my hijab purely for the sake of Allah, but not by choice (which I was already well aware of) but because my LORD has commanded me to do so, if my LORD commanded me or allowed me to remove it then I would... but then I’d follow fashions and beauty standards that are enforced by society which is forever changing. I would never be satisfied. Yes hijab styles are too influenced by society and it would be correct to say I too submit to these standards, but if I fully submitted to my LORD, my CREATOR ALLAH, then turly would my heart, my brain and my soul find pure contentment. This video has made me further realise the true beauty and respect that hijab brings. I appreciate it more than ever and I thank Allah that I have the ability and strength to wear it. I just pray that Allah SWT gives the the strength to fulfill it’s (hijabs) right as commanded by Allah. Thank you brother Ali, I truly appreciate this video. I genuinely have A LOT OF RESPECT for both of you. Both you and sister Aliyah! Amazing conversation and having the mind to be able to understand and learn like this can be very crucial. Your pride and ego would not let you make a decision in the matter of a handshake having contentment and restraint on that is what defines a respectable character and a strong confident notion. Love all of you guys in the comments that raise a woman up. This is empowerment through respect. MashaAllah

For me it's very simple. My body and possessions are owned by God. Therefore I will do what God tells me to do with his possessions. This eliminates freedom of choice. That's why it's a test. God wants to see what you will do with what he has gifted us and how we interact with it within this world. Think about it like borrowing something from someone. You have to respect it and follow the rules of the owner .

Sadly, she didn't spot the False equivalence fallacy that Ali dropped on her when he was making that comparison of a girl who chose to wear a hijab, vs a girl who chose to do plastic surgery based on fashion shows/society 'standards' etc. Ali says the other girl was "commanded" to do that plastic surgery.. no she wasn't! Nobody ever told her puff your lips, place some implants or else we arrest you... meanwhile in Islam you ARE commanded to wear it, and in certain Islamic countries, if you don't oblige - you get arrested as a criminal. Does society arrest girls and label them as criminals because they didn't put butt implants? No! So he used this *FLAWED* example to ask is it better to listen to the commands of society or commands of the creator? Well, yeah - when you let the fallacy slide and assume a creator with no actual evidence, of course the latter is better.

My question to you is - What moral lesson Muhammad gave to humanity by 1. Marrying Aisha and Zainab 2. Murdering a 120 year old poet Abu Afak for just writing some poems 3. Murdering a poetess Asma Bint Marwan for just writing some poems against him 4. Accepting woman as a gift (Mary The Coptic) 5. Trading women slaves. (Muhammad murdered 600-900 Jews of Banu Quraiza tribe within a single day, took their women captives, and sold many of them to Najd for horses and weapons. Muhammad was a slave trader 6. raping Safiya after murdering her entire family 7. Raping his dead aunt Fatima? Tell me what moral lesson Muhammad gave to humanity by doing all this? ........

@@gaaanaaa Humanity indeed comes first and this concept also came from the religious beliefs. There are bad followers in every religion but it doesn't mean we starting blaming an entire nation or community because of few bad people. Hence, Muslims perceive that meaningful life is to serve God's purpose and living a life that is linked to an eternal life on one hand, and attaining existential meaning from worldly goals and moral virtues on the other. I do disagree with few things you’ve mentioned but I won't blame you because you have a right to state your opinion. Have a bless day..!!
