To my knowledge (and maybe I'm wrong) has never been shown in any biology classes and this is the fundamental question - sure, we have made observations on different types of animals and have ascribed these reasonings that these types of traits came about because of X, Y, and Z, but they cannot fundamentally prove the origins which would be linking it to the specific genes/groupings of atoms the give rise to said traits or behaviors. Just stating its a "common survival mechanism" to somehow develop intelligence, emotions, etc. is just you spouting the narrative that they taught you with no evidence to support that claim. This claim is fundamentally an "inference" to the best explanation based on a Materialistic world view (which there is no evidence to support that world view). Additionally, trying to say everything in the universe is explainable by science assumes a degree of "all knowledge" - how do you know that science can explain everything in the universe? The answer is that you don't and fundamentally its incorrect to state this as a fact when its just your belief or opinion. This is not to ridicule you in any way, but just want to point out the flaws in this logic so hopefully we can all learn, improve ourselves, and improve our fundamental positions.

Now an average response to this would be utilising the vague Nature of the Qur'an and state that ' here day simply means uncertain time period not 24 Hours days ' . Well this response can be refused easily by the hadith literature. Here is a sahih hadith Abu Haraira reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) took hold of my hands and said: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labour on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday and He caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday;the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday, i. e. between afternoon and night. Sahih Muslim 39:6707 This sahih Muslim hadith is a death knell for anyone who is trying to interpret the days of creation as uncertain time periods . And there are dozens of such hadiths !. But I think one should suffice. So since the Qur'an contains a gross and unacceptable scientific error our premise leads us to the conclusion that Islam is false. Do you see people it's that easy. Now come on pack it up and find something else to do with your life !.

Phd doesn't mean anything. What I mean by this, it's not worth anything if it doesn't increase your knowledge of Islam and bring you closer to your Lord. There was a PhD imam at a masjid once, saying it's okay to celebrate western holidays like thanksgiving and Christmas because we live in a western country. He also said it's completely fine to have girlfriends/boyfriends. My husband after the khutbah went to give the imam naseeha, the first thing out of the imam's mouth was "what do you do for a living? I have a PhD, you are lower than me, do you think you know better than me?". May Allah protect us from such arrogance and ignorance.

It's possible it's not even really a separate thing from matter, but an opposing effect of the existence of matter itself. Like how you have hot and cold, push and pull forces, positive and negative. It's not something that you can just measure by itself of any volume without matter because by nature it is the opposite of what is already there. It's just a theory about dark matter, but logically things like black holes, white holes, worm holes, would all be examples of what the matter/dark matter argument talks about.

I don't remember exactly which reaction they have in this scenario), how this reaction pokes a hole through the fabric of spacetime which leads to the Einstien-Rosen bridge, or in other words blackholes. Would you say that this dark matter is observable due to the magnitude of the event, and wouldn't be detectable otherwise? Because to me it seems like dark matter is the reaction to great masses or matter dense enough to warp space, and the opposing effect (dark matter) is that same amount of energy equally reflecting back on such a dense enough substance, and this reaction also occurs in an equidistant point in space, which enevitibly leads to the two ends meeting and creating a tunnel between the two points. In theory, it could be possible to calculate the distance of this tunnel by measuring the amount of energy generated or inputted, and the mass of the matter in question. I've been thinking about this lately, and I think it could be a possible explanation on what dark matter/anti-matter actually is. You might be surprised by how I came to this conclusion.

Not really Ali Dawah isn’t very good at all in debating actually. He might be good in his own topic, but he doesn’t work very well with logic and coherence while debating. He’s all over the place and doesn’t really follow a clear and structured thought thread, but jumps a bit here and a bit there, and sometimes if his statement is contradicted, he change the terms of the statement, saying he has a definition of his own, and according to his very personal definition he has right because this and that… Which is just a level that you don’t operate on if you want to have an intellectually honest debate on a high level. He’s very good in talking fast with a unusually high pitch confidence, that actually most often seems forced if you compare to the guys he debates with who most often talks calm and structured. Ali Dawah often appears to be very stressed out while he talks, but hides the stress behind his forced confidence. I’ve seen him many times. That’s how I perceive him. So I’m quite puzzled that so many people get amazed by him. I mean you can agree with him and like what he’s proclaiming, but I to think that he’s doing it in an awesome way???🤔

The entire debate revolved around mr. Ali asking multiple questions after questions to get a “gotcha!” moment, so when Dr.Hassan doesn’t know how to reply to certain questions, mr.Ali is like “aha! Your science is insufficient to explain stuff around us, therefore God!” Which is pretty much the God of the gaps fallacy. The thing is, science concerning the universe started progressing vigorously in the past century or so with the discovery of Einstein theory of relativity and quantum mechanics, but science is progressing and will continue to do so. Yes science is still unable to answer MANY questions concerning the nature of existence, but just because it’s currently unable to do so doesn’t mean it never will. So using God is a way to fill in answers to questions we truly don’t know is actually not in your God’s favor, because as soon as those questions get answered using factual evidence, your God answer will be rendered useless.

I disagree I’ve seen many religious debates and most of the time religious debaters like Ali Dawah are incredibly messy, speaking unnaturally fast, jumping all over the place, and often answers a question with asking another question back, talking around and around the point instead of getting straight to the point etc etc. Also very often I see illogic analogies being used for making it look like they made a point, when in fact they were playing with words, and that little word game isn’t transferable onto anything on a larger scale, but they act little they proved a point with it anyways… Also the logic beat is unfortunately very off and false sometimes, and it seems as they aren’t even able to realize this when it’s pointed out. Instead of debating within the realm of logic, it’s like many religious debaters try to win the debate with being macho and over confident. As if they see themselves as a wolf trying to win over another wolf by being the biggest alpha. No, sorry but I’m really disappointed. I love debates, and I love listening to wise people twisting and turning topics as much as they can in exploration of what is true and not. Tariq Ramadan is so far the only debater I’ve seen being totally intellectually honest and superior in his debates.

The Qur'an, on the other hand, describes the Earth as being fully formed before the stars. If you haven't realized it yet this is the case. A deity who calls himself the creator of the universe doesn't even understand basic cosmology. So since the Qur'an contains a gross and unacceptable scientific error our premise which is backed up by the Quran leads us to the conclusion that Islam is false.

When the topic went to energy, Ali couldve spoken about the big bang and the assumption that yes energy cant be created or destroyed in our universe but at some point in the beginning of time energy was created. As they say, all the known laws of physics breakdown when one assumes the big bang singularity.

If you watch from his example with the water bottle in 24:32 he explain it well when energy is inside the bottle it can not be created or destroyed because it’s dependency in an isolated system And if You look it up it says The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted from one form of energy to another. This means that a system always has the same amount of energy, unless it's added from the outside. Just this proves his point is correct and the fake PhD arab guy is wrong
