SolusBatty same. Initially I didn’t even give 3 a chance. When I heard about the assembly cut I knew I had to see it. After I did, it became my favorite in the series. Assembly cut is masterpiece. The acting is unbelievable and I can’t believe more people don’t talk about that. Especially in an age where the art of good acting has fallen by the wayside to plotless, cgi riddled, special effects laden, completely unrealistic action, no name C rate actors being sold as movie star, brain dead target audience movies.

Which box set???? I want ALL of the special features: alternate versions, deleted scenes, the “making of“ featurettes, and all the extras. So which one? Does this have the 3-hour making of Aliens? The individual Alien and Aliens 35th/30th Anniversary editions contain all of the extras. What about Alien 3? I want the alternate versions as well. Help a brother out. Which one contains everything? Your inherent glee when unboxing this was great to watch (as are all your other videos). Ever consider making a video that ranks the movies in the series? Your insight on Alien: Resurrection was interesting, especially since that was my first Alien movie as well. Seeing it on pay-per-view when it came out and was definitely too young to watch that sort of thing. Lol.

I liked the predator, aliens and predalien fight scenes. It was just the human rolls were for hell. All of them were better of getting plasma shot, mouth pierced and nuked.

It looks like with this Alien Movie Set the Alien Movies Only come with their Theatrical Versions and not there Directors Cuts like in their Anthology Release which came with Both Versions of each Film, on the same Disc of each Film....... But I could be wrong for this release thou.

Actually I'm talking about the set with the Side Ways Shoot Of The Xenomorph Warrior Alien I think? The Background is Black and as for the Xenomorph itself it is Green Mixed with Mostly Black. And all of the Discs are housed in their individual Cardboard Pockets and as for the case itself it's designed to feel and look like a book, and it ONLY comes with the First Four Alien Movies (Alien - Alien Resurrection) that is the on that I was talking about. But If you're talking about that one then yeah I think we are talking about the same set? :)

Funny to hear that Canadians have bilingual cover art too. Being from the Netherlands, I find that many of my BluRays come with both Dutch and French text to cover the Dutch and Belgian markets. They probably chose a picture of Call to represent A:R because she has been the only actress to appear with Sigourney who has been or came close to being A-list material. Winona had her picture and name prominently on the original poster too, if I remember correctly. Quite unique because before that, only Sigourney received top billing and her face on the poster. Winona's casting was a main selling point at the time, before that shoplifting conviction (by now long forgotten, fortunately). Both Aliens and Alien3 were a Weaver show with a solid cast of supporting actors, but none of them famous enough to warrant such a prominent place in advertizing (not even Michael Biehn). I'm not surprised that they used Michael Fassbender to represent Prometheus, he was easily the best thing in it and in Covenant as well.

Michael Tower Good for you. Requiem is certainly better than the first avp. It was a fun little stupid B-movie romp. But on a technical level it has fundamentally abhorrent lighting and editing issues. The first avp is a steaming pile of Paul WS Anderson hot garbage catering to the lowest common denominator mountain dew swigging dumbasses with zero taste in film. I’m glad most people don’t take them seriously. They’re both very poor movies and aren’t canon so theres nothing to worry about. Hardly a laugh’s worth.
