Sad Ridley Scott stopped it being made, because he wanted his movies to come out first, eg Promitius. But yes i hope they make part 5, which will be a remake of part 3.

I saw it when first released at the Charles Street theater Boston Ma. I was 15 at the time. The Charles was on of those, as most were back then, old time theaters with massive screens, opera, 2 level seating sections seating, etc. It was the perfect theater for the movie. I'll never forget the crowd when exiting, nobody said a word. Everyone was fucking stunned by what they had just watched. Ridley Scott handed everyone their ass that day. It was the best..

Sigourney is just stellar with all her delightful and insightful answers. She really has spent a lot of time studying the alien mythos and you can tell she has put some deep thought into most of the questions and there is no way this hour + interview was rehearsed!

I got to interview Sigourney Weaver for my high school newspaper back in the early 1980s. (Her real name is apparently Susan Weaver). My stepdad was her doctor in New York. She was so giving. I got tongue tied from nerves, and she jumped right in offering stories from Alien including how scared she really was running down the strobe lit hallways at the end of the film. Aliens hadn’t been made yet but it has become my all-time favorite film; so much so, I was watching it while in labor with both my kids lol.

I liked Prometheus a lot actually it opened up the world of alien to more then just a monster. Which brings more to the table in my opinion also it will give more to see ripely again because the prequels explore the alien and not her which gives more to see both the monster and ripely

Its a very short list, of movies that are sequels that are equal or arguably better than the original movie(s) that have preceded them. The Empire strike back, The Godfather Part II, The Dark Knight, The Winter Soldier, Rocky III, Home alone 2, The Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum, and of course, ALIENS are all that I can think of. As I said, it's a very short list. *Its a total shame that we didn't get a Neil Blomkamp and Sigourney Alien movie, because we all know how "Prometheus 2" aka Alien Covenant turned out.* Jeez, some of those audience questions were annoying, including that woman, who made it all about her and her army career. Did she really have to go into so much detail? Yes, we get it, and we're all grateful to you, but enough already.

How disappointing the Neil Blomkamp sequel will never materialize. I have good faith in the Fede Alvarez Alien Romulus but I always feel like something is missing without Sigourney (Ripley). And wow! That last guy asking why there wasn't an Alien reference in Ghostbusters? WTF? You get the chance to ask Sigourney Weaver anything and this is it? Should have screened the questions to her first! Sigourney was so gracious and tolerant for such an inane question.
