It's a longer distance approach disc in my mind. I published a review on this Tuesday and found it carries a little longer than a typical putter for upshots. And it will turn surprisingly easy on forehand throws despite being a straight-flying disc with a thick midrange rim. I bag it, but would use it for backhand throws where I need a little more distance than my putters, and my Pig for forehand throws.

Yeah it'll pretty much do whatever you want from short range. Further out shots with more power you'll definitely put some hyzer on it. Thanks for watching 👍

I like and throw the sonic, so the feel is cool. The overrstable part is not a 1. Like 2 minimum

It was a little inconsistent, and I was probably a factor 🙋‍♂️. The glide I just couldn't figure out. There are much better choices than this one, but it's still a cool disc and fun to throw.

Lol it'll fly fine but has to be released with less arm, and definitely benefits from some hyzer. Although much better discs on the market for forehands. I do agree though that would be a nice added touch 😆 Thanks for watching

I'm not familiar with the Watt but it's a lot different than the sonic and glitch so it could probably find it's place in your bag.

@@justrunit it's super straight. Good touch and full power straight lines. Great for gaps.

I power grip everything and I love the sonic. Been throwing for 13 years and the sonic is a way better disc. I guarantee more people will bag a sonic over the alien. And I can tell by your form you haven't been playing/ practicing long. No offense but it's hard to rely on a review from someone who doesn't have much experience

Well thanks for watching, I'm forehand dominant and I get it my form isn't great but it works. PDGA 136050 since you say I have no experience . It's good to have reviews from all skill levels. Not everyone who watches are 13 year vets...
