Great story. I am going on 83 years in January. I have never experienced that kind of community of love. The color of your skin is very important in the USA. We have experienced a civil war & we are now expecting the Trump Administration to start expelling so-called illegal immigrants.

Give it a rest and do some actual research outside of CNN or MSNBC. They aren't "so called", they came in the country illegally! If they are legal they are either CITIZENS or have current visas and cant be deported unless they are breaking the law. Expecting nothing in return. There is no mysterious WHITE MAN trying to keep POC "down" or "in their place". Seriously do ya'll think that the average white person wakes up in the morning and thinks "How can I keep a POC down today". NO! The average white person doesn't have time to worry about you simply because of the color of your skin. Not when we are trying to just get by, exactly like everyone else.
