Poignant point made n 3 minutes, but the alien could have been a bit more alien, or the knowledge how trees communicate (wood wide web) better implemented. Keep making films and one day, you'll make a full movie.

Hi thanks for the feedback! I'm the guy who wrote the scene (and acted as the “alien” in a different version). You're right it would be great to have more stories that explore the wood wide web. If you're interested my Dad has written an eco-fantasy novel about dryads called “Root Rage” (you can get it for free as an e-book on Google Play) in which the wood wide web is an important plot point. If I ever got the chance I'd love to adapt it to screen.
