They DO get resistant, it's their biology, when their cells are damaged they get replaced by polarized Silicone which is heat resistant, it's also extremely weak in very sudden changes of temperature.

@DabonJannies so to kill an alien you must put it in a 0K room and light him up with a 2400K torch... or hit him since the lower the temperature is, the harder materials get and thus the lesser they are resistent to bending (kinda like glass: it's hard but as soon as one bit breaks, the whole thing scatters)

Imagine if they made a game like this where you were stranded on a jungle planet being hunted by a Predator. 2:30- 2:35- "How could you miss him? He was three feet in front of you?" got me because it was so perfectly timed. I'm back after about a little more than a week but I had a feeling that this would be the episode in which Ricardo died but as a matter of fact, I knew it because last month while I was probably in one of the earlier episodes I randomly clicked on a video that stated that it did "Alien Isolation" on hard mode with no deaths but it went straight to the part where Ricardo died and I knew that was probably one of the toughest deaths if not the hardest as unexpectedly, he was the one who actually stayed and communicated with Ripley throughout the better part and most of the game. I didn't like that but then again, I couldn't remember it so well since I saw "Markiplier" play it and it was REALLY long as I mentioned many times before but I just don't like the deaths in supermassive games like these. Samuels died and I think Taylor along with Marlowe. Waits had to die. Jesus........... I'll be back though. I just had to pause at 11:56s. The music felt real this time. It happened again but this time to someone who was with her virtually throughout the entire gaming experience........................................................................................

I think it knew when you got out of the locker because the door opened when it sensed you in front of it, and that makes a small sound. It really freaks me out when you're trying to hide and every door opens, alerting everyone nearby of your exact location. >.< A couple more sec for it to walk down the hallway a bit and the door noise/movement may have gone unnoticed.

There's some fan theories that the entire outer skin of the Xenomorph is a sort of biological 'suit', less like skin, and more like armor. We've seen engineers use this 'technology' for themselves. It's entirely in the realm of possibility they (or David?) used the same process in the creation of the Xenos. Such a design would easily be adapted to say, traveling in vacuum for short periods. There is clearly an intelligent design that made them. Tho I have always found it funny people on the internet still seem as stupid as the humans in the movies. "What do you mean they cut the power? They're just animals!" LOL

The more you flame them the more agro they get. The flamy is a great last minute tool but best used very sparingly against Vlad and his siblings. You know you are in big trouble when you have to spray them 3 times and they just back up some instead of running away and still come back for more.

i guess sevastopol was built in an unstable orbit around the gas giant (presumably so they could jettison things into it for experimentation purposes, hence the lab they trap the alien in and jettison into kg348) the orbital stabilizers were probably one of the first things built and powered up. probably so the rest of the station could be built without worrying about fiery death. if you blow them up then it can't stabilize it's orbit and atmospheric drag from the gas giant slows he station and drags it down. this is how i've come to rationalize it atleast.
