Personally, I haven't used USB DMX yet

tedious to configure as you will need a PC program such as QLC+ and a LINUX based system for most UDMX Devices.. its not easy but once you get a hang of configuring it its pretty much infinite possibilities.. You can create Beautiful patterns and make a Great show. once your have the linux system, drivers and DMX cues (buttons for specific patterns) sorted. its a matter of plugging it all in booting the required programs and enjoying the show. For this laser tho a simple 12 channel DMX dimmer board is enough though not so practical for accurate live shows. but putting it in auto mode might be enough for you depending on your needs!

Yo tengo una interfaz de ADJ mydmx3.0 en su librería búscala como alien 1w láser te dejará usar todas sus configuraciones yo tengo 3 lásers y los modifico y programo a mi gusto aparte son bastante sanos para el público

Hi Yes, in this laser you can turn on 1 color using the DMX panel. There are 2-3 laser shows that can be forgiven. I don't have a DMX controller for my PC to tell you more.
