I'm trying to write a sci-fi space story on paper set in year 2070 where each nation on Earth is working together having a Senate made up of representatives of every nation while the president is elected by the people called the Terran Commonwealth protected by the Commonwealth defense fleet and marine corps while each planet has their own armies navies and Air Force to protect themselves but they will encounter my own version of the Galactic Empire ruled by a chancellor.
