This game and Behemoth and loads of other releases this year, proves that the PSVR2 is strictly for the players, no bells or whistles just straight up VR carnage thats not for the faint hearted.

Mini rant, but why is literally nobody talking about how bad the frame rate is in this trailer? It might not be indicative of the final release, but it says a lot that a studio would let a trailer like this go out to a showcase where it'll be seen by millions of potential PSVR2 buyers who are on the fence and see it running really choppy.

because most of us into VR (and esp PSVR2) will end up buying a PS5 PRO to replace out PS5's which already struggles with VR on the best stuff. Also... alpha gameplay.

I noticed straight away too. It might be the original captured video runs at 90fps or something and had to get squeezed into a 60fps container for a youtube video and they done it poorly, they game hopefully will be amazing.

Resident Evil 8 Sold me on VR2, faster then RE7 sold me on VR1. An RE4 VR2 is the best version vs every other console = VR Experience is Awesomeness

Let me say I'm happy about getting this and behemoth, but, realistically, people, let's enjoy the heck out of 2024 because it's probably going to die after this. It costs money to make headsets and develop games, and so far the sales are not justifying it. Unfortunately, it means the support will not be there. It looks like in VR currently, the only developers with a chance are making for quest ecosystem. And even they are having a hard time.

Because it’ll look like shit on quest vs PSVR2? Both because of mobile crappy gfx and especially LCD displays. Games like this were made for OLED. PC or PSVR2 is where it’s at.

I can not friggin wait. This is (hopefully) going to be AMAZING. We never got Alien Isolation in vr but this can make up for that. Just have to wait a few more months...eek. if this is as good as I hope the psvr2 will fly of the shelves

I hope we get to drive the (Yellow loader mech) & its better then Isolation; that game was more tedious then scary. Glad that they choose newer game. Hoping this game goes Beyond my expectations but we'll have to see. An hopefully more TYPES of Aliens in this. The pods opening facehuggers.

I think the licensee is probably very scared of trailer misrepresentation after Aliens Colonolials Marines. So they are being strict on the punlisher for what they put in the trailer.

I'm hyped for this! Def gives Alien Isolation vibes, but with more combat. I really wish they'd start polishing these trailers more, especially when they're getting shown at PS events. It's not doing any favors selling the hardware when both this and Behemoth were dropping frames like crazy. That's not helping selling non vr gamers to the hardware. Trailers need more polishing.

I'm more concerned that it's coming from Survios who did The Walking Dead Onslaught... but Alien has been in development a LONNNNG time so hopefully they nail it this time! :D

Everybody seems to be ignoring the “not representative of final gameplay” disclaimer. So we don’t really know what kind of game we’ll be getting. Could end up being something completely different!

I don't think anyone's ignoring anything. They only gave us 15 seconds of gameplay so I still don't know what kind of game they're advertising.... EDIT: What's here though is probably accurate considering they're only about 5 months away from release. That's not enough time to change anything significant

@@WithoutParole you’d be surprised how many are. On a different VR news channel, the majority of people are talking about this trailer as if they’re seeing the final product. Of course I hope it turns out to be great, but this is Survios, so my expectations are lowered and I’ll wait for a proper trailer.
