Not just that but one thing I hate and I mean HATE is that they dropped the 3d loading screens that was delivered from chapter 1 and dropped after C2S1. Not throwing shade at the artist or anything because those loading screens are pretty cool but the 3d loading screens were peak. Nowadays the only way you're getting them is through the freaking shop tied to a bundle if you're lucky.

I just quit ranked Rocket Racing yesterday after grinding to unreal for the past 3 seasons of it. It's broken. Cars don't maneuver as smoothly as they should, some tracks are built so ridiculously that it makes you question who would even release such a thing and most races only having 6 players when you get closer to the unreal rank. It was fun for a while until it just became annoying. Countless updates passing and almost zero attention to the broken mechanics of the game mode just made me give up on it. It's upsetting too because the mode can become addicting. It's just become too obvious that Epic thinks placing a proverbial bandaid over the bugs will make players happy. I hope they decide to make changes and fix the mode so that it can be enjoyable again. Not only for casual players, but for the few who had fun racing competitively against one another. The mode could've been something if they just cared about it enough. Edit: It's the day after and it's also the Day of Doom update. Decided to give one last chance to Rocket Racing and the game crashed mid race. They don't even try anymore man....

As someone that has been in Rocket League since 2016, has all but 3 cars that have transferred over, and has been Unreal all these seasons, i agree, recently, i've unlocked the loading screens of the new season, and just wondered, why aren't the races looking like this? Rocket Racing was dealt the worst hand out of them all, releasing days after removing one of Rocket League's STAPLE things (trading) made it so A LOT of people just relate it to that, hating it, making it so the people that should transfer over from Rocket League, not do so, and there is just so little gamemodes, a Rumble gamemode would be sick, like Mario kart, but there isn't, the game needs content, same with Rocket League, which needs a port to UE5 FAST I will always be there for this 2, because i can find them fun, but there's always those times where i just need a break Granted, the transfeering stuff was a great idea, i just hope this means a brighter future for Rocket

@@DUCK5123 I feel for you, man. You're totally right. They added a casual racing mode and speedrun mode which, honestly, both seem pointless. A battle mode where they incorporate the car mods from last season of Fortnite would be so much fun. They could do so much that could change the pace of the mode and make it enjoyable for everyone, but they just continue adding cosmetics instead. I recently started playing RL because of Rocket Racing and it's going to be a middle ground to scratch the driving itch until Epic decides to put care into Racing. They also need to do something that would encourage RL players to have a reason to play. The player pool is just too low where it is right now. It's crazy to think Rocket Racing made me want to Rocket League as a better alternative. All we can do is just sit and hope Epic opens their eyes :/

They design the tracks as if the cars maneuver just like Mario kart when that isn't the case and the physics punish you for slightly over calculating a turn by flipping your car at a random angle or demolishing it as if you crashed into the wall when in reality you were doing a midair flip to drive on it.

Bro if I just bump the wall slightly with the tip of my bumper, my car basically loses control and pinballs against the walls until I can figure out a way to control it again. It comes down to tracks not being built for the mobility the cars currently have. The tracks demand smooth drifts and thruster boosting, but even if you drive perfectly the tracks find a way to knock you out of sync. There's been times where I'll hit a wall accidentally and just say "alright I'm not getting top four this race" and I'll have to settle for 5th or 6th. Just for my rank to either go up half a percentage or go down an entire percentage. Makes me so disappointed

The huge issue is now that the rocket pass goes up to tiers in the 300s but normally people only get to around low to mid 100s which means there's content that players will never be able to get now that there isn't trading.

Fortnite's Multiverse failed because epic forgot what brought them record numbers in the first place, originality and uniqueness. Rocket racing is another quick arcade racing game that you can only play for so long until it starts to get repetitive, lego fortnite is in an awkward spot, trying to be minecraft while not allowing the freedom minecraft does, nor is there a story to the lego mode which it sort of has in terms of npc's and progression but its just not there, not to mention the worlds aren't made from lego bricks only structures players and mobs are which kind of takes away from the lego vibe, Festival is really the only valid mode as the team from guitar hero revived a game thats fanbase had been sort of split since there was no main rhythm game, the majority were fan made. The real reason alot of people dont appreciate these modes is because they sacrificed the innovation from battle royale such as seasons and live events for modes that the majority of people don't play. Adding the modes itself is good as they do have their playerbase, however its clear they only added these modes for money more than anything which would explain why they released these modes with glitches and bugs.

About Fortnite Festival having harder difficulty now, I should’ve spoken better. I know that the game got harder and I mentioned at the end of the video that the game eventually got more content. The point is that upon release that difficulty update did not exist and so it’s potential was stunted. This goes back to the video’s point, that these games failed due to being rushed

Fortnite devs are spread too thin for all the content they're trying to create. Their main gamemode will always be battle royale, so that kind of just leaves the other three modes as the red-headed step child. Unless EG can build onto what they already have, and generate enough hype to gather everyone back, they should just can the whole project. It's a massive waste of time and money for them.

They should have let Lego cook for longer, but having a creator mode was a great idea. Rocket racing got boring quickly, and letting it have creative was a good idea in theory, but what they should have also done was introduce more modes instead of just racing and time trials. For example, let people make a derby mode for it or an elimination style race or even tournaments. Lastly, fortnite festival is overall better than the rest and the battle stage was a unique idea that can be fun. I'd say most they should do for it is let it have a creative scene so players can build their own stages and possibly have it so they can have their own in-game animations like guitar hero did.

I did have fun at first with LEGO Fortnite, but the charm really did wear off quickly after 3 days or so, so little to find, so little to do, felt like a beta or something, I don’t know what it needs per say but I’d like a lot “more?” added to it than what’s here now… Most of my hours spent in LEGO Fortnite is solely just to get the daily levels of xp you can gain in there, just put on a podcast or a few episodes on my phone nearby and give it 80% of my attention while the 20% goes to the other screen mindlessly wandering, mining, crafting and then standing around nigh-afk with the odd jump and thumb stick waggle when I’m already bored. It’s not fun but it’s pretty efficient…

When Rocket Racing released, you could do out of bounds shortcuts with the boost, I loved it. Less than a week after, no skips, you go out of bounds you die, never played it again.

As someone who owns the original disc of Fortnite when it was only supposed to be save the world, it infuriated me when epic pulled the plug on save the world back in June of 2020. I had put hours into that game purchased their founders editions and waited for twine peaks to be completed instead they gave up on it told us the game was complete although it showed it wasn’t there were massive bugs; still are and twine peaks is just a ton of recycled maps from stonewood, plankerton, and canney, the game had so much potential to it and now we only get like 1 new weapon and update a year as all the limited time quests we have are recycled year after year, if they want to be selling special bundles at least invest in save the world then release a massive update giving the community what we’ve wanted for the last 6 years.

Definitely agree. The 3 modes are severely undercooked and only even remotely enjoy festival despite its lack of difficulty. Funnily enough, Lego came with a "Must not fail" priority on it but because they didn't leave it in the oven for enough time, it's kinda looking that way. It's sad that BR is getting the StW treatment in a way, considering the fact that they're prioritizing on "the big 3" rather than what got them into the position they're in in the first place

Dude what festival is awesome now. They have support for a lot of guitars, they added a lot more hard songs. There are some very very hard songs on there now. I play on expert on 2.0x speed and it’s awesome. I play on everything, controller, keyboard, and guitar. It’s awesome and it’s the main thing I play on Fortnite. It started off kinda rough but it’s been great the past couple of months.

Rocket Racing in the highest ranks is pretty much almost as mechanically complex as high rank rocket league. People come up with crazy movements and shortcuts. The skill ceiling is pretty high than what most people think.

Simply because: Epic’s official modes have serious problems: Lego Fortnite doesn’t allow the freedom you would expect it to have. Rocket racing gets repetitive extremely quickly, without original map obstacles or mechanics, but just another generic track with some boosters and red stuff on it. Festival is fine, but song prices are prohibitive. Creative lacks basic custom item support (who would encourage actually not just copy pasting maps with a different name), which got delayed AGAIN btw, and support for custom movement or anything that allows you to make your own gameplay experience.

The issue I have with Fortnite isn't just Epic themselves, it's it's community as well. They will rightfully critique Epic about changes they make but then meat ride the slightest changes they make to "improve it." Even though that thing they changed was better before the update. They always cry the word "adapt" but can never do it themselves. On top of that they don't know how to hold Epic accountable. AT ALL! They can't agree on anything because their entire community is split between BR, Ranked, Reload, Zero Build, Zero Build Ranked, Reload Zero Build, Lego, Festival, Racing, Tycoon Maps, Skibidi Toilet Maps, ZoneWars Maps, on and on and on... and now their going to add Ranked to Reload. It's all to much and Epics ego and arrogance is so high through the atmosphere that they don't realize they can't actively support THIS MANY different modes and experiences all at once. Their running their resources and money dry and have had multiple big fallouts. One within their own company causing a massive layoff and others with big names like Apple, Google, and now possibly Samsung. A company they collaborated with many times. Also caused arguably one of the most important people at Epic, Donald Mustard, to quit as he felt he couldn't align himself with the direction Epic was taking this poorly planned "Metaverse" idea. Both Epic and it's community have such a high level of arrogance and ego that they can't accept that maybe the changes their making are not good at all, in any way, shape, or form. But the community AND it's creators won't say anything because "OMG PRETTY BLACK CAT SKIN IN FORTNITE!"

Fortnite has made many horrendous changes, but sprinting is just an objective improvement. Regular “sprinting” if you can even call it that, is unchanging and still exists. The new sprint is just a means of going someone faster using a different system consisting of one button and a bar I wouldn’t even call that “over engineered”

Honestly, jamstage is pretty friggin cool. I've spent countless hours making new music from pre-existing songs. It's not all sunshine and rainbows though. It can take a while to find people with the same taste as you or have any jam tracks that compliment the song your playing. Jamstage has alot of potential but, like many of the new game modes, I feel as if they could be alot better. Maybe they could add a way for us to hold competitions to see who can make better music and have a way to vote for the band you think sounds the best. Idk at this point in my comment, I feel like I'm just yappin 😅

I do agree with the monetization tho it's way too expensive for really no reason. Festival is my favorite mode out of the 3 because of the amount of content we get weekly, they've added some REALLY difficult songs since launch like paradise city and beyond the flame.

I play festival more than br at this point, and the bugs are gone. There’s nothing there at all anymore which is awesome. And the difficulty is getting harder with every main update now, which is nice. There’s a difficulty called “pro lead” or “pro bass” which requires you to strum and some songs (specifically rock songs” look exactly like the clip of guitar hero you showed. In terms of all three of them, I personally think Fortnite festival is doing the best, also due to people that don’t even play the mode getting jam tracks for the lobby music or jam track emote slots

I disagree with the reasons for Rocket Racing being the least popular. Racing games in general are the most niche out of all the genres in the selection, they were never going to have a high playerbase, especially with a game focused on the "racing" part. The game gets particularly difficult for people to keep up in the higher ranks of RR; drifting at every single opportunity, good meter management to not waste it early on, having the map knowledge to skip entire sections of the race because of RR's unique mobility, using mag-flips to gain incredible speed. The game always had a high skill ceiling from the beginning, and the same appeal any competitive racing game player will enjoy; to go as fast as possible. But unfortunately what killed the game for me and potentially other RR fans early on is that the game had frustrating glitches with collision, and content drops that were PALTRY, RR didn't even do seasons, they labeled them as "themes" like Neon Rush for example. The game would hardly get new tracks, and I remember Neon Rush just feeling like a gigantic drought, with no real incentive to keep playing beyond rank. And for a long time you couldn't even do an unranked/casual race matchmaking queue. The only part of RR that pulled through to keep the game interesting was its speed running community. Please look into it, because that was where the heart and soul of RR was. And it was pretty cool.

Personally, I'm fine with all the things that Fortnite has added recently... I'm mainly upset how Fortnite doesn't even feel like Fortnite anymore and now just feels like a company who'd shell out to anyone at this point... Fortnite for me just feels like they'd do anything for money. No matter how stupid or ridiculous they make their own game... Lego Fortnite is a big open game that has beautiful visuals and a wonderful design... But can't handle giant complex projects like you could do in Minecraft... Lego Fortnite lacks story, reason, or anything that'd make you interested to see what you can do in the game mode... Festival doesn't have anything to offer besides being a simple guitar hero rhythm game. To me its just hard to see how a game that went from a strong battle royal, to a shitty hub game that adds more 3rd party material then their own OG materials. Fortnite lacks its own Originality and would rather be a cash grab for anything they can get their hands on and it upsets me to see how a game I loved playing before is no longer it's own thing except this giant multi-company... But that's my own belief...
