Played Alien Isolation on VR and wow. When I crawled thru that vent I was so terrified I nearly took headset off. Vospx btw.

I think an Isolation style "Aliens" game with multiple xenos would be amazing. The tension Isolation created was great, but it got stale after a while -- a few action segments would balance that out. I'd imagine this hypothetical game playing something like the RE2 remake. That game had the perfect balance of both horror and action. Just give the player extremely limited ammo for most of the game.

I remember when the 1st movie came out cause I went to see it! One thing I will be looking at is the detail and movement of the aliens.. If that's spot on, then I will bow down to the devs... So yeah, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!❤😂

Although I'm not big into horror movies, the alien series is just AWESOME! to be able to play it in VR, well all I can say is "HELL YES!!!"

Uhm.... I am just gonna put it out there that if I die from heart attack, this game will be the cause of it. I had them enough in Alien Isolation, no more please. Just having sound effect of something crawling through the vents are enough and some face hugger action. The trailer is already enough to make me scared (even though I'm gonna play and die), also it's in VR not XR but VR. Yep cya on the other side.

Have you tried the VR mod for Isolation? There are some occasional clipping issues, but other than that, it's extremely playable - well, with a diaper of course. AI had amazing graphics, and apart from the NPCs, it still holds out, even after ten years, even in VR. I highly recommend it.

Yes such a shame about Isolation, Alien Isolation was originally going to have VR support but they ended up scrapping it. And I believe MotherVR, the VR mod for Isolation, was largely made from the left over code of that abandoned support.

I will be over the moon if it's a multi-player capable FPS (please not 3rd person like the latest Alien console titles!) and has an Isolation like story mode! And if it has proper licensing for the quintessential sound design (proper pulse rifle, alien shrieking, etc), it will be one of the best titles let alone VR titles ever. 🙏🙌
