My guy, to say that this is my most anticipated film (even over Deadpool and Wolverine) is an understatement. Oh man! I am all over this film like a face hugger on a victim. What I like about this film like you said that it’s a new director because their ideas are new. That last George Millar film was fire 🔥 Love your take sir.

Ridley Scott is a great director. Even his recent films are great but yes, he shouldn't make Gladiator 2. There's no reason for it. Ridley is a visual genius. We always have a fantastic cinematography and visuals in his films. For me that alone makes him a distinctive director. And even without that, are all directors with specific style good? Personally I only like 2 Tarantino films. He can only teach us how to KILL people in his films

@@JABBERFKS Please, all of his films look fantastic visually. Obviously you're just biased towards him. The Last Duel, American Gangster, Body of Lies, Kingdom of Heaven, All the Money in the World, House o =f Gucci are all great films. He made first two episodes for "Raised by Wolves" and they were phenomenal!

Very wrong, no one has ever been able to credibly imitate Alien and Blade Runner, and the reason is that they are stylistic masterpieces, perfect in every way and visually unique. In fact whether one likes Prometheus and Covenant or not, doesn't matter, they are very much Scott's babies, very recognizable to me.

Aliens is great though lol Blade Runner 2049 is also great. I’ll give you Alien and Blade Runner are stylistic masterpieces. But Ridley Scott doesn’t have a unique style that someone else couldn’t pick up and do and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Sure, Alien 3 might not be a good example. But he doesn’t have a distinct style like George Miller. If you watch Alien: Covenant without knowing who directed it, you’d have no clue it was Riley lol
