There are rumors that the Big Chap(the drone from Alien) is going to be found in the movie and is not quite dead. I think the rumor I heard has the Big Chap being found and they extracted material from it to experiment on, creating the facehuggers here.

It’s been said Romulus Lab extracted DNA from the first alien that was salvaged and they created the facehuggers. So the adult xenomorph is possibly the very one from the Nostromo.

The trailer looks really good. Based on what we are seeing, it sounds like the setting is similar to Alien3, with people trying to experiment on aliens to use as a weapon, and it going catastrophically wrong. It actually looks like the humans decided to modify the chestbursters, because they are way faster and more aggressive in this movie than the others.

I for one am excited! This movie looks horrific, nasty, gross, gory, and unsettling...just as an Aliens movie should be. You can't play nice with these things or this franchise. The aliens need to be scary and repulsive in the worst way. And I love them for it!

The first alien got blasted by shuttle engines, but the alien queen from the second film just got voided out the airlock. So I think it's the queen.
