⁠@@TaxemicFanaticI’m not sure when they were studying the alien in Aliens because no samples went back and the colony was pretty much wiped out unless you’re talking about the forced removals and Alien Resurrection was 202 years later after the death of Ripley and the last known xenomorph. WeyYu definitely lost overall but in the moment they won because I mean they’re engineering their own facehuggers without a Queen and that’s always been like a stated goal for the bioweapons division. Until Romulus we never even knew that they actually got their hands on a xeno and unlocked some of its secrets let alone reverse engineer the pathogen.

Will you be doing anymore trailer analysis? The tv spots and Japanese trailer show more new footage. (I don't care about the trailers "showing too much". They're meant to entice the average movie goer, not the fans, who they know will see no matter what. So they show a lot of "money shots". Besides the original Alien trailer shows glimpses of some characters death and the Aliens trailer showed the queen! Didn't exactly "ruin" the movie for anyone back then. Why a big deal now? People have been driven insane by their worry over "spoilers")

@MikesMonsters Sounds good. I figured you'd skip over these new ones because, while there's new footage, a majority of the trailes/spots are the same stuff we've seen before. So a bit redundant and time consuming to make a new video just to cover a total of 45 seconds of new stuff. Especially with the movie just around the corner. Looking forward to your review. Also looking foward to if it's drastically different to the rough cut you saw.

The movie is another base generic film people keep saying omg it's gonna be so insane what xenos kill the crew and the ellen rpley 2.0 lives i would love if the Alien Queen was end reveal and killed her since it's inbetween alien - aliens

Thanks for this, dude. Just one question... they don't force the whole woke agenda, do they? Yes it's lovely to see a diverse cast and I know all the cast in every Alien movie has been nothing but diverse and i love that, but i just dont want it to be forced, as I read that the guy that played the synthetic said he was extatic that being a black guy playing a synthetic was crucial as synthetics are pretty much deemed as slaves, which didn't sit right with me. That statement alone was very left field.

He’s probably excited to show that the synthetics don’t always have to do “slave” work and is also the first black man to play a synthetic role in the film. He’s fucking awesome in it.

@mikesmonsters OK, dude. I don't like bringing up the topic either, but at the rate we're going as a society, is crazy, but I won't get into semantics. Just know my intentions are good when asking the question, and I love everyone as we all live under the same sky and bleed the same blood. I just feel when things like that are forced, it takes me out of the movie a little. Thank you for your feedback. It has restored faith. I brought my tickets yesterday and can't wait.. again, nothing malicious here, was a general question.

@@abrimfulofasha I didn’t take anything maliciously! Just stating that I personally find that kind of discussion silly. There is indeed stuff being forced into some things, but not as much as many claim there is. The folks that find something to call woke in this kind of movie literally need to go step outside and experience the real world. The comments David made are coming from a man who is black, something us white dudes have no experience with and he was speaking from his perspective and life experiences. That’s the way I see those comments.

I’m one that believes everyone should be equal, no matter how they live their lives. Unless they are actually harming another person, which most people in a different life than my own are not.
