Alien Soldier Speedrun in

Captured on a Japanese Megadrive via RGB using a XRGB mini @ 1280x720 using a legitimate Japanese Alien Soldier Megadrive cart. Encoded @ 1920x1080. Default difficulty was used (Super Hard).
Real time was started after pressing start during the training room and ended after the last hit was dealt.
Decent run. I have not reached my goal there is about 20 or so more in game seconds to get before I feel I'll be finished with this game. I had bad seven force luck in this run and sub optimal patterns from some other bosses.
NOTE: The jerking during the boss intro names during the ending credits are dropped frames from my capture card due to an antivirus scan that conveniently happened to start at that time.

I watch this gameplay every year at least four times. Stills being amazing how this dude plays, and how good capture quality is. Treasure didn't lie, Alien Soldier stills shocking.

@@TomyDayos Yup, two from the manual of the Japanese version. Tenma Kuroki was the human host of Epsilon-1, Epsilon-Eagle's evil half. The Epsilon you play as is Epsilon-2, which represented the good half. Kaede Nanase is that girl who operated Seventh Force.

Hi, thanks. Gunstar Heroes came before this game, this was made much later at the end of the Megadrive's life (in Japan anyways). They're both made by Treasure.

It's strange how this predecessor is commonly known as SixForce, yet the actual boss only has Five fightable Forms. I doubt the woman that becomes it is considered a Form, much like Green wasn't in Gunstar Heroes.

Hi, when this run was completed, it was the fastest known time as far as I know, then a Japanese player beat it using the PS2 port which has no slowdown. I don't really care about speedrunning any more. I just like playing games at a high level these days. Thanks for watching.
