This game was severely underrated. Everyone brings up the other contras but I feel like people forget how well this one played and looked.

I bet part of it was that Hard Corps was on the Sega Genesis instead of the SNES like Alien Wars. Because Contra and Super C were on the NES, I feel like people back then thought Contra was more of a Nintendo thing... I'm just glad all versions of Hard Corps made it on the Anniversary collection!

YES! That is one which i call 10/10 Genesis game! The programming, the visuals, the novel, the action, the challenges, the creativity, omg... 10/10! I finished it yesterday after long time not playing emulators, i was impressed, omg!

Love this game, beat it every way with every character to see every ending! I always thought Brownie with that op ball and chain was the speed character, obviously Fang with these exploit full charge shots is best! edit: Damn I am not sure as a kid I realized that whoever you are playing as, in that space elevator ending, dies as a result of saving the world. So Epic!!

Watching a bipedal, cyborg Wolfman wearing sunglasses at night running over hordes of aliens invaders in an armored truck has to be the most hardcore and hilarious intro to a game that I've ever seen. The fact that he somersaults out of the car and slides on the grounds to stop himself is icing on the cake.

I've always been under the impression that fighting untill the end with the doctor was faster cause of the shorter cutscene and the fact that it's not a scroller but i guess i was wrong.

How did you do the fully charged shots so rapidly?

To shoot quickly you need to use a bug. Shoot weapon B and quickly change it to D.

Да, если знать как. Нужно взять орудие "B" и "D". Выстрелить оружием "В" и быстро сменить оружие три раза. То есть, нужно нажимать кнопки BAAA, BAAA и так далее.

У него самая мощное оружие в игре - пушка D, которое можно заряжать, удерживая кнопку стрельбы. При полном заряде пушка наносит колоссальный урон. При помощи бага, можно стрелять этой пушкой без траты времени на зарядку.

Использована игровая хитрость. Нужно подобрать орудие В и D. Переключаемся на оружие В. Жмём кнопку выстрела и быстро переключаемся на оружие D. Так вспышка срабатывает намного быстрее.
