@@michaelnash9970 The Bible also says; Moses was angry with the officers of the army--the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds--who returned from the battle. "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them. "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. Numbers 31:15-18 Then there is Jesus saying: Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Matthew 10:34-36 I must admit, I find more morals in the books of Sir Terry Pratchett than I do in the Bible. However, in this tale, it could go both ways, having morals only to forget them at a key moment perhaps. Either way, it’s a wonderful story so far and I’ve enjoyed listening to it. I wouldn’t think the writer needs suggestions for what comes next.

@@TheGreyAreaBetween i appreciate you putting references that shows good follow up. I wasn't arguing semantics, ... I was thinking 🤔 his story had a great moral dilemma... Now that the Aliens know our 'Code of Conduct' would they exploit it or use as a guide for diplomacy. It was merely a desire to see a follow up. That you're using it as an opportunity to make controversy... I think misses the point of the story. "This is a 'diplomatic' mission..." Princess Lea.

Poor Zarklith, as soon as he gets home and begins telling of what he learned from the humans, they'll indeed regard Earth as a threat. He may or may not live to see the war as they may consider him compromised. Such a rigid society never changes easily.

Does this sound familiar? Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) PDCA is an improvement cycle based on the scientific method of proposing a change in a process, implementing the change, measuring the results, and taking appropriate action. It also is known as the Deming Cycle or Deming Wheel after W. Edwards Deming, who introduced the concept in Japan in the 1950s. It is also known as PDSA, where the “S” stands for “study”. The PDCA cycle has four stages: Plan - determine goals for a process and needed changes to achieve them. Do - implement the changes. Check - evaluate the results in terms of performance Act - standardize and stabilize the change or begin the cycle again, depending on the results

🤗👍👍👍😍🤩😃 Ohh how i wish many of the other authors that I've listened to had this author's ability to write and do a Very Good Job. Even the narration is extremely good. He writes a straight line story with no bouncing around. His characters are Realistic. He doesn't have them during impossible things. Like dying and coming back to life in the next sentence. And he doesn't have them talking like comic book characters. If you have not already started listening to this story. I highly recommend it,it's good.

"Like dying and coming back to life in the next sentence." I know the story you're referring to. That was crazy, but not the only crazy thing in it. This one was well written and narrated. I noticed you capitalized the "R" in Realistic. I'm listening to this through some great old Realistic speakers from Radio Shack that I bought in 1973. (They don't make them like they used to.) I'm wondering if you have some of that good old equipment that wasn't designed to die after five years.

I thought the writing was terrible, myself, lol. Incredibly simplistic psychology, one-paced, each chapter formulaic. No real sense of person or character. An idealistic, rose-tinted spectacles view of humanity and both species depicted as pretty homogeneous and monolithic, despite vague references to a rich cultural diversity in humanity, that was never seen or shown in any way, other than, 'it's really culurally rich, honest', even though everyone seemed a soulless cypher... Mind you, the ai narration didn't help. Apparently either the author, or the narrator, possibly both, didn't understand the usefulness of punctuation, in communication.

This is very nice, and I'm not quite at the end of the video yet so I don't know if the topic comes up at all... Also this isn't meant with any harm in mind, just my own thoughts.. but I have to say I was a little bit disappointed that during the war simulations, WW1 was skipped. I have a couple reasons and thoughts. 1. There were certain tactics/weapons that were used and/or developed during that time and I think they would have been fascinating to hear the alien fella's thoughts about. Specifically the Western Front in WW1. Trench warfare, chemical weapons (later banned for obvious reasons), the first use of tanks, friendly fire because of how inaccurate targeting was.... 2. The horrific conditions in the trenches. War itself is pretty dang harsh on the human mind (perhaps a bit of an understatement even) and then add the conditions the soldiers had to live in while in the trenches? I imagine, depending on the history of the alien race and what kinds of war they've waged, that it may be quite a shocking or even a rather traumatizing experience even as a simulation. I imagine it could also be useful to show any fresh possibly battle-hungry soldiers the reality of war. I guess I just would've been interested to see how the alien would react. Quite many stories depict the wars waged between humans as absolutely barbaric, what with all the things that are now considered war crimes/inhumane acts (e.g use of chemical weapons is literally a crime). Many alien races find the humans monstrous due to how savage their fighting has been. It would have been very interesting to see how thr guest would react to said horrors in our past. Could also provide info about the alien's own species, seeing as they seem to be mainly warriors.

As the first light of dawn broke over the horizon, the air buzzed with anticipation. Zeltron stood at the forefront of the assembled army, her crimson cloak billowing in the wind, her gaze steely and determined. Before her rose the imposing silhouette of Shadowkeep, the enemy stronghold that had loomed over their lands for far too long. With a resolute nod to her commanders, Zeltron raised her sword high, the glint of steel reflecting the fiery determination in her eyes. "Today, we march on Shadowkeep! Today, we reclaim what is rightfully ours!" Her voice echoed across the ranks, stirring the hearts of every soldier gathered. The ground trembled beneath the thunderous advance of the army as they surged forward, banners snapping in the wind, war cries mingling with the clash of weapons. Zeltron led from the front, her blade a whirlwind of death and defiance as she carved a path through the enemy ranks. The defenders of Shadowkeep, taken by surprise at the ferocity of the assault, rallied to meet the onslaught. Arrows darkened the sky, swords clashed, and the air filled with the screams of the fallen. But Zeltron's resolve was unyielding, her courage a beacon that inspired her troops to fight on with unwavering determination. Amidst the chaos of battle, Zeltron's elite warriors fought with unmatched skill and precision, cutting through the enemy lines like a scythe through wheat. With each step closer to the heart of Shadowkeep, the intensity of the fighting only grew, but so too did the resolve of Zeltron and her forces. At last, they reached the towering gates of the stronghold, where the enemy's final defense stood ready to repel their advance. With a deafening roar, Zeltron charged forward, her sword blazing with righteous fury. The clash of steel rang out like a symphony of war as Zeltron's warriors surged forward to join the fray. For hours that felt like an eternity, the battle raged on, the fate of the realm hanging in the balance. But in the end, it was Zeltron's unwavering courage and indomitable spirit that carried the day. With a final, thunderous blow, the gates of Shadowkeep fell, crumbling to dust before the triumphant army. As the sun reached its zenith in the sky, Zeltron stood victorious amidst the ruins of her enemies' stronghold, her cloak stained with the blood of her foes, her sword held high in triumph. The people cheered her name, their voices ringing out in jubilant celebration. But even as the echoes of battle faded into memory, Zeltron knew that the war was far from over. There were still other battles to be fought, other enemies to vanquish. And as long as there was darkness in the world, she would be there to stand against it, a beacon of hope in a world consumed by chaos.

Zarklith awakens from a series of dreams though one in particular still fresh in his memory as though a fever had placed it there, of space rings, ancient powerful civilizations with monolithic architecture and prowess, with vague images of insect like "primordials". Despite all of these images of immense awe one image in particular still burnt into his mind for days if not weeks after, the humans equipped in powersuits and vast flying fortresses, one particular human in a powersuit with the number 117 etched into Zarkliths mind like fire and woke him from a legendarium of a universe, he was never quite the same as he was now beholden to the immeasurable ignorance from his race of the abilities of the humans to conduct and forge warfare, he sat still for some time before proceeding unto the training camps of the human base.
