I noticed a drop off on the audio on The Abyss also. After such a long wait for these Cameron films, you'd think they would be perfection. But....Disney. Need i say more . ✌️♥️🙂

Abyss and Aliens look terrific though they could have done better with the audio.

I agree, but I'm not as critical as others. I loved it and did not find it distracting. Not on the same level as Titanic, which I thought was the best 4K last year.

@@screamingeekmediaI hated how Titanic looked. It was bad for me.

Honestly, I will pick this up, but due to the obvious Artificial Elephant in the room, the transfer isn't as good as its predecessors, which is why it and Alien and Prometheus' 4Ks (Not picking up Covenant, that movie is my most hated of the lot) will serve as companions to my 2011 Alien Anthology Set. Really, the two transfers that James Cameron and Park Road Post have done that are getting universal acclaim are The Abyss (which we brits haven't gotten yet) and The Terminator (which we Brits ARE getting), so those I will be on the look out for them moreso than Aliens' which I'll mainly get in conjunction with the first film. There's a time and a place to use AI in film restoration, but it will never beat the real deal.

Yeah, sucks that Cameron wants everything to look as clean as Avatar. I'm glad The Abyss came out nice. that was top of my wishlist. Hoping Terminator is good on 4K. Have to wait & see. I ordered it couple months ago on Zavvi. But just canceled the order since it is the same artwork as US version and got it ordered here before selling out.

All great directors use and reuse the same people. Theyre that confident

I wouldn’t call that confidence

@@thischannelisdeleted Why? If you are absorbed by the movie and you don't automatically recognize an actor or if you eventually forget that this actor is someone you recognize, the director is doing something right. The problem with Camerons movies right now is theyve become overexposed
