I encounter new age and various witchcraft beliefs daily. My friends who love to hear about my Orthodox faith and pray and read scripture with me even. I aim to be gentle yet stand firm that these other "spiritualities" are not compatible with my beliefs. One I'd be interested to hear how to discuss is a friend told me we "have to raise our vibrations" just tonight. Another friend lamented i was going to miss her bday party because the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were going to be there reading tarot cards or palms or some such and it would be "right up my alley." to illustrate the depth of the ignorance here. I want to bring them the Word but its hard when they think they know Christianity but this is what they know. But they are open to it and support my outspoken Christian faith and thats a start I dont want to lose. Not so long ago i couldnt tell the difference either. Thanks for reading! Also, crazy fact, one such friend of mine had an alien encounter as a young woman. She has an implant in her hand that can be felt. I have felt it! But doesn't show up in tests and can't be found with a knife... It seems a physical/spiritual alloy (?) Or some such.

I read Fr. Bailey's book recently and thought it was brilliant. Fr. Rose is next on my list. You might be interested in the book The Gods Have Landed ed. James R. Lewis. I haven't read this yet but its an academic collection on "UFO Religions", overlap with paranormal and UFO encounters, and religious understandings of the UFO phenomenon. God bless!

Interesting take on the phenomenon, and it does make sense that something which is continually confounding is not of God. I really enjoy a good mystery, and tend to love watching the Skinwalker Ranch show - where it is always quite confounding, and what the phenomenon is (according to researchers) is never clear.

.... ok , demon is a greek word , it comes from the verb : Δάω - Δέομαι , and it meant , the old times something similar to an angel or a messenger with no bad meaning , like the 'demon of Socrates' the philosopher . At later times the word took the meaning of the evil messenger , that is the evil spirits. The word is still used in greek as a synthetic with no bad meaning(i.e: ευδαιμονία) , but alone it means the evil spirit. Hope it helps ☦

Make a vid about fear and how you can reconcile that with the OT. Fear is the antithesis of trust. I will say this with a muslim I debated who they view god as owning them and them being slaves. Which is very similar to how Yahweh in OT saw humans as expendable as well... It is. It denotes a imposition of power from an authority or being with a higher power. It isn't a relation. A imposition is a one way street ->. A relation is two street . Being slave shows this imbalance of power in which one is the receiver of such an imposition. I don't think you understand the gravity of this situation. But this is why such things as Dataism exists. Without a relation that is two street there can be =//= respect of human dignity and value. In other words it objectifies us in relation to such a system in which we are reduced to what we yield and produce in the case of such a god worship, and in the case of Dataism well data, etc for others. A relation on the other hand is a symbiosis. It isn't only about what we can do but about a coexistence and living together. You don't live together with a slave. The masters always kept their edge over a slave and had separation between them in terms of distance, status, etc. That is =//= the case with a relation. A relation dissolves those boundaries and transcends them. It is about simply living with your loved one. Just as a normal relationship between lovers is almost. It's about being present in each other life =//= about what I can get from the other as a transaction or imposition from a position of authority. In fact I blame all current systems on the lack of this that they are dehumanizing us.

@@larry6419 No he wasn't. All those arguments about him being one are nothing more than discreditation and lack of knowledge regarding his works. Also Christians were technically occult practitioners themselves before becoming a bureaucratic idealism enforcing powerhouse so the negative attitude toward anyone connected with the occult or mystical (even if they really weren't) from their side is quite ironic.
