Who would have thought when we were kids that remastering toys would have been a thing, but I am 100% glad that its happening. Some great toylines or cult classics have gotten new life, like Sectaurs and MOTU Classics. So its awesome.

The Kenner Drake you compared it to isn't the original Kenner Drake! Your Kenner Drake is from the anniversary two pack that came out in 1996. The color of the NECA Drake matches the original Kenner Drake more than the one you compared it to!

Loved these as a kid had Ripley Drake and Atax I think he had removable alien armor loved them had a few of the aliens and a predator awesome to have the with articulation now

Hudson, Hicks, O'Malley and A.T.A.X required to round out the Kenner Marines. That said, hoping we get movie Drake in the near future as well as Apone and Gorman. 100% nead Gorman as he is the only character we're missing from the later half of the movie.

Awesome i my first two Kenner Alien figures i had was in 1993 and it was Drake and Bishop i used them in my action figure wrestling fed back then so it is cool to see newer style.

I remember having the Drake action figure back in the day, and I loved how it clicked when you rotated his waist so it sounded like he was shooting. I hope they make Bishop next. :-)

Gah lee, I've been anticipating this figure for so long! Looked for it back in April when NECA announced it was shipping but never saw it. I'm hoping the shipping date was delayed and it'll be showing up in Targets soon. Also, I think the box art looks like Michael Biehn as Hicks

Hi Pixel Dan! This is one question I would LOVE answered by your connections at Neca. Can they release the Aliens movie version of U.S. Colonial marine Mark Drake in his smart gun attire?? Just like they have already done for his movie counter part J. Vasquez. I have been wanting that one figure for years now and no sign of him.

Hey Dan, thanks for your explanation video, I've just launched a youtube chanel in my country, which is Portugal, I tried doing an unboxing of this figure, needless to say I failed miserably assemblying the harness for the gun. Being an avid Neca collector I fail to understand the need for a spare part in the scructure of the gun! Furthermore when I detached that part from the cable an awful bit of white rubber appeared, which I'm going to have to hide using some paint! Thanks, once again!

I wish these were on actual blister cards like the originals (like they did with the T2 Kenner figs). As it stands now, I’ll pass because I’m not an opener but if they were on the true vintage card backs, I’d would buy in a heart beat.

Interestingly they keep saying there are issues with licensing yet if you go to Mark Rolstons twitter and search NECA/Figure you'll see that not only is he open to the idea but doesn't seem to care about the money.
