Speaking of Zenescope, Van Helsing: Sword of Heaven and Van Helsing vs The Werewolf weren’t bad. Both written by Chuck Dixon. Outside of that I couldn’t tell you much about the others I’ve read.

Belle: Beast Hunter is worth checking out

Of the three AVA sounds like the best storyline. I'm like you Englentine. I prefer the 70's through the 2000 teens.

I checked out Aliens vs. Avengers and personally did not like it. I'm frankly not generally a fan of digital art/coloring, and the art style turned me off. The story was okay. I don't know much about the Aliens franchise as I've never seen any of the movies, so I can't speak to how accurately the aliens were portrayed according to the established lore. I might check out issue #2 but it's not my first pick. Also, it's Jeremy Adams who's writing Flash Gordon, not Joshua Williamson as you said at the end of the video. 😜

i read alien vs avengers & it was kind of boring . i also didnt get how hulk & captain marvel would have trouble destroying a bunch of aliens .. i mean how did they even let the problam get this bad ? Hickmans pacing is always so horendus but this feels like it would work better as a movie or animated movie kus then i could deal with the slow pace more
