The later DC issues done Cadmus dirty because of the Deep State conspiracy meme or narrative🤨

My favorite moment in the comic is when he is buried alive in a tank. His catchphrase was always something like “I’ll keep fighting until I’m 6 feet under” anyways, he’s in this tank underground and all is lost, but he digs himself up and there’s an extremely cool page with him rising out of the ground saying “you put me 6 foot under, and I’m still fighting”

Wait, you guys were angry that MARVEL COMICS killed-off Captain America??? Isn’t that normal? Or did you want him to live FOREVER without any stakes?? MARVEL seems just as bad as DC. Either they live forever (MARVEL) or they get rebooted every 15-20 years and come back (DC) 😀 Maybe it was time for him to die. THOR should have been replaced by Jane Foster.

So Bill himself appears several more times (I assume) between his Avengers first appearance and his proper heroic debut in Power Man, right? That's a gap of several years. So many years in fact, I wasn't born when the Avengers appearance happened (nor had Adams shown up to show Hecks boring old guy pencils were in fact lame, lame lame) and I was a little boy when the Power Man issue appeared. Love the sexist dismissal of Janet when she offers to help and the tacit validation of that mentality when she brings coffee like a good woman 😉 And I love that Bill and Luke understand implicitly that immediate violence and shouting stuff which objectifies Night Nurse as property to be fought over are the only reasonable responses to meeting each other 🤘 YES!

I like that you are actually showing some of the strips that will cause wokies to hemorrhage immediately! 🤘👍🤘👍And even though I tease the woke, I have to admit that I enjoyed the Micheal Ryan/Joss Whedon Yellow Kid in the Runaways.... even though a man who literally says out loud "I am a feminist" deserves to have his lunch money taken.

hi Englentine. Cool cover, colors & interesting back story on this comic. Yeah too bad they switched management, if you would've gotten that deal in writing, is there a chance that the new management would've had to abide by the deal you had with the old management?

What is left out of here is that whatever you want to call the fanbase, they're at fault to some degree, because they're the ones that went along with it. And when people had the option to support good people that were in line with what they were saying they just didn't. And that is a reason for all this went down.

Here are my scores for the holiday covers along with the final ratio rankings. 1. Christmas Annual #5. That is a wonderful stained glass illustration of the Nativity and the Reason For The Season on the cover. The score is a Nativity 10. 2. Walt Scott's Christmas Stories #959. This is a lovely era-appropriate rendering of a Christmas scene. It's simple and sells the book to the target audience. The score is a Woodland 10. 3. King Comics. The character situational humor between Wimpy and Santa Popeye is rendered on point. There is just enough background to set the scene and the holiday tone. Henry is being his mischievous self. The score is a Santa 10. 4. Santa And The Angel #7. This is a Christmas card-style cover but it works for this comic book. It sells the book. The rendering is adorable in the best sort of way. The score is an Angel 10. 5. Ha Ha Comics #61. It's an adorable era-appropriate rendering of a Christmas cover. This sells the book to the target audience. The score is an Izzy and Dizzy 10. 6. Sensation Comics #38. Wonder Woman is portraying Miss Santa Claus bringing cheer to the kids out there. A great holiday cover that sells the book to the target audience. All the elements are rendered well. The score is a Ho Ho Ho 10. 7. Captain Marvel #19. Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel help Santa out on a great holiday-themed cover. The background reflects the holiday season and is rendered excellently. The cover sells the book to the target audience. The score is a Marvel Santa 10. 8. Detective Weekly. The cover is a perfect rendition of a newspaper complete with an authentic-looking photo rendering of Santa. The rendering fits the tone of the book and still conveys the holiday season. The score is a Detective 10. 9. Comic Cavalcade #19. The heroes are helping out Santa while Santa is making his own run around the world. The background sets the scene. This cover sells the holiday season and the book. The score is a Cavalcade 10. 10. Christmas With Mother Goose. The cover is full of wonderful details from the fairy tales and conveys the holiday season well. The rendering is amazingly adorable. The score is a Mother Goose 10. 11. Santa And The Angel #259. This cover is not quite as adorable as the other Santa And The Angel. The mystery about why Santa interacts with the Angel and the animals does sell the book to its target audience, however. The score is an Angel 10. 12. Walt Scott's Christmas Stories #1062. This is a simple and effective rendering of the little boy with the Christmas tree that was likely left by Santa. The cover sells the book to its target audience. The score is a Tree 10. 13. Walt Scott's The Little People #86. The cover is well rendered in the appropriate style for the era. This is a holiday cover without being overpowered by the details. Everything on the cover is adorableness personified. The score is a Little People 10. 14. Classic Illustrated Christmas Carol #15. This is a perfect rendering of the book's subject condensed to sell the book while still leaving a bit of mystery about the story. Traditional Christmas colors are used effectively along with harmonizing brown tones in the rendering. Marley's ghost has the traditional head wrapping to keep the jaw in place after death. This is the epitome of Classic Illustrated covers done expertly. The score is a Scrooge 10. 15. Lone Ranger #79. This is a very subtle holiday rendering of the Lone Ranger delivering presents with a tree on the stagecoach. His hat has a touch of holly and there's atmospheric snow. The more stereotypical Christmas symbols like Santa Claus aren't needed at all to sell the holiday season. The score is a Hi Ho Silver Bells 10. The final ranking for 8s best is Popeye and the worst is Santa and the Angel #259. The final ranking for 9s best is the Christmas Nativity Annual #5 and the worst is the Christmas Mother Goose. The final ranking for 10s best is the Lone Ranger and the worst is the Cavalcade. My favorite all-round cover is a three-way tie between Christmas Annual #5, Lone Ranger, and Christmas Carol.
