The issue with the Alien campaign was they made it both a prequel to the other 2 and it was too short. Only 5 missions and one takes about 2 minutes to complete. Compared to AVP2 where it was a lot longer and had more of a legitimate story behind it and it connected better to the other two. If they make another game, it could have so much potential.

Plus notm only was the campaign shorter than the others most of the levels were just filler. Only the first and last missions have any story relevance the rest is just Six wandering around killing people who happen to be close by.

Which is explained, why we do see some alpha xenomorphs such as ; Grid Alien, Ol'Blue Alien, Mozart Alien, Anne Cregar Drone, Raven Alien, Specimen 6, and Trophy's Hatchling.

So let me see if I get this straight and please correct me. Specimen 6 at the end basically transition from male to female in order to continue the species. Like clownfish. As an alpha male and alpha female. When the alpha female dies. The alpha male transitions to a alpha female to continue the species. Is that about right? Is that what happened in the end? I'm not really deep into the comic books when it comes to the aliens in the Predators. I really just enjoy the movies. But I'll probably make an effort to get deeper. But just to get an understanding of the continuation of the species.

Grim Soul Xenomorphs are actually hermaphroditic. For example take Alien Vs. Predator, Grid killed 2 Predators no problem because what I heard was that the drone was so strong it was suppose to changing into The Queen. If the Queen a drone becomes the next Queen to keep the cycle going. In this case, I believe that the Xenomorph Drone was already female and since The Queen was killed Six mutated into the next Queen to keep the Xenomorph cycle going.
