You can actually see the opponent's deck while in a menu like the Terminate the Tower card, if you click on the blue button on the left side it closes the menu and allows you to view information about played cards, your draw and discard piles and the opponent's draw and discard piles

Another cool detail about that fight is the enemy has 49 chips but when you start it you "toss a chip to your dealer" and they end up with 50. Doesnt change anything since you get the chip back on winning but very funny

Cool tech with the hearts deck and the chilli pepper chip - if you draw a blackjack and the hearts bonus would be wasted since youre at max health, you could instead click the chilli pepper 7 times, get 7 advantage, and then stand and go right back to max health.

1:00:00 It seems that it’s the first Ace played that turns into a 1 first when you bust with multiple Aces. Since the first one was an Ace of Hearts, it had value of 10 instead of 11 (because of Blood Donor), so when you played the Ace of Clubs you got +11 from it which busts, then your Ace of Hearts went -9 (instead of -10 if it weren’t for Blood Donor) and you’re still busted, so the nyour Ace of Clubs goes -10. So playing it this way effectively have you go -8 instead of +1.

That's also known as a natural 21 or just a natural. So getting 21 with three or more cards isn't called a blackjack. Jury's still out on if getting 21 with a *single* card should be called a blackjack, but we can all agree that it's clearly not a *natural* 21, right?

honestly, sweep the leg almost always feels more helpful for the opponent- 22 is still an awkward number, but 20 is much easier to reach in 2 cards with the amount of face cards

Isn’t it crazy that Tyler called a card on a masterpiece of a game a very specific name and it’s been in several video games since then? Like what an obscure reference to something to put in games. Like think of the billions of people who don’t know who Tyler is but still see “four mana 7 7” as a card and are so confused…. 😂😂😂 I love it though. Inscryption legit is my favorite game of all time. It’s tied to a very traumatic time in my life and it’s literally the only thing that got me through it. I worked all day and lived through the worst conditions possible to come home to a new inscryption video. If I do a rewatch of the series one day I’ll probably cry… I’ve also bought the game on my switch and played through it. Amazing gameplay and extremely replayable.

@59:59 I think the reason the aces weren't giving you a blackjack is because of the donor card. I think the ace of hearts starts as 11, goes down to 10 from the donor, and then when the ace of clubs is played taking the total above 21, the ace of hearts is also converted to a 1 instead of just the ace of clubs. If you pause at the right frame you can see 9 being taken off the ace of hearts and 10 being taken off the ace of clubs.
