When you decrease the 1 of nothing with a counterfeiter it becomes a blank card, which lets you pick its value on first play - which is great for guaranteeing some blackjacks your first time through the deck.

This. It looks like the dog fight could be really difficult for certain types of decks, considering the high health, low cards played, and the extreme variance each turn. Gimmick fights are usually easy, but they can also exist to punish edge case strategies. the Time Eater in Slay The Spire is kinda like that. It's a difficult fight, but he simply invalidates certain types of OTK combo decks because he ends your turn after playing a certain number of cards. If your deck needs to play lots of low value cards to win (shiv decks say hello), Time Eater will ruin your day.

Ehh 2 advantage per fight isn’t that great, especially compared to chip strategies that can generate 10+ chip in a fight, the persistence is nice though

I think the ChipCoin event is specifically programmed so that, if you sell at a loss, it immediately shoots up afterwards, but if you sell it high, it immediately plummets to zero, to really hit home that you either screwed up or got out just in time.

I assume the other "thing that has to be done" is winning against the last boss of the top floor instead of going down to the basement. Last run you went top floor but before reaching the end, you took a shortcut that brought you to the basement, so I was surprised you chose the basement again for this run.

random thing, there is a limit on card numbers at 999, but there is no limit on shield, so with a bit of good luck a instant blackjack card with clubs and a -999 card can give you insane shield on blackjack
