@corb8053 жыл бұрын
For 8-10, the small shape (indicator) must add with the empty space it is in to form a square. For example, If you have a 3x1 indicator inside a 3x2 empty space, they can add together to form a 3x3 square. In the puzzle, the indicator shapes can also be added together if they are in the same space. For example, if you had a 2x3 indicator and a 2x1 indicator in a 2x4 space, the three rectangles can piece together to form a 4x4 square. The other rule is that you may not cover up any indicator.

I'm pretty sure the quick brown fox was a reference to how in that game in order to do some of the later puzzles you had to learn a new language and to learn it you use the sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" since it is a scentence often used in kindergarten as it uses every letter.
@solveforx3142 жыл бұрын
I feel like the devs just used a pangram to make it harder to solve. This works well as an extension of what was taught in the previous screen, given you know what game it's referencing (which I didn't). Since all they needed was to have all the letters, I'm sure they could just as easily used something like "Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs". They just chose that particular one because everyone knows it.

I'm pretty sure 8-9s second rule was just that the numbers in the sections have to add up to the area of a square or just be a number ^2 i.e. 1^2=1 2^2=4 3^3=9 4^4=16 Although I'm not sure if we ever saw 16 it would be interesting to test though.
@achunkofbutter3 жыл бұрын
It’s not just the numbers. You have to have the shapes also combine to make a square. You need to imagine you’re fixing them together like lego. Tyler did a good job figuring that out.
